Céline looked at Draco, scanning his features. The fire illuminating his fair skin. It was around two in the morning, they were laying in the black leather couch in the common room. His head leaning on the armrest while she snuggled close to him her head on his chest. Her neck craned to see his face in the dimly lit room.

Draco's eyes were closed, his arm firmly wrapped around her waist. She looked at his perfectly shaped eyebrows, his long straight nose, his long wispy lashes that casted shadows on his high cheeks. He was beautiful, but at the same time he looked different. His cheeks seemed more hollow, he had dark shadows under his eyes. His skin seemed paler. His body what is normally lean, seem a bit skinnier.

"I can feel your eyes burning holes in me, love." He murmured with his eyes closed. My hand, that was placed on his chest, moved up to trace the shape of his nose.

"Are you doing alright?" Céline asked him softly. "How's the holidays at home... with everyone."

His eyes opened slowly and moved to look at hers. "Fine." He said, his voice calm.

"Have you been eating? You seem a bit thinner? Are you skipping meals?" She asked. She was worried for him. She knew that Voldemort is making him do something, but she didn't know what.

"I'm eating." Draco said.

Céline hesitated for a moment before speaking. "You know... if you just tell me, maybe I can—"

"Stop." He said firmly, as he takes a small section of her hair and plays with it in between his fingers. "It doesn't concern you. I told you, Céline, pretend you don't know anything."

She stares at him, she already knew that he wouldn't tell her. "You'll tell me.. if something is wrong, though? If you really need me?" She asked him, her voice carrying concern. He stays quiet for a moment as if he didn't want to answer her, but he saw the genuine concern for him in her eyes.

"I'll be fine, love." He said. His hand drops her hair and goes to caress her cheek. She leans into it. Céline silently decided that's she wasn't going to sit around and wait for him tell her. She wanted to make sure that he was safe and not doing anything that he'll regret.

Draco looked at her, already knowing that being 'fine' wasn't enough for her, but it was all he could say. So instead, to distract both her and himself, the arm he had wrapped around her waist pulled her closer to him.

Céline's eyes widened in surprise, as he pulls her over him so that she as now laying on top of him. Both of his hands moved down to grab her from behind the knee, pulling them so that they rested on either side of him. Her face grew red from the sudden change of position, going from being an innocent cuddle to... being so intimate.

But she remembers this isn't the first time they've been in these kinds of position, it's happened a few times, but not often. Céline couldn't really lie to herself. With the way she was drawn to Draco... she wished these moments were more often. She stared into his beautiful eyes, as he did with hers. Her face subconsciously getting closer to his.

She knew this was his way of getting her distracted, and quite frankly, it was working completely. His eyes burned into hers, every few seconds they darted to her plump lips, then back to her eyes.

"We don't do this very often." She said softly. He couldn't help but smirk.

"Are you disappointed?" He teased, as she got closer. She thought about it, with everything that's been consistently happening in her life, she hasn't been able to truly enjoy her relationship with Draco, she felt like they've both had to grow up too fast.

"Yes." Céline said softly, her cheeks burning from her boldness. She wanted to spend more time like this with him. For a moment his expression changed to surprised, and then he looked at her with a mischievous smile.
