Chasing Shadows || Draco Malfoy x OC

Year 6- Ch.191

"out of here." Ordered Snape, grabbing Draco by the scuff of his neck and pushed him out of the door before the rest. The other Death Eaters and Werewolf followed. As they were leaving Harry realized he could now move, it was not magic that had him frozen but more of the sheer horror and shock of what just happened. He pulled the Invisibility cloak off him and Céline as the last Death Eater disappeared through the door. "Petrificus Totalus!" He shouted pointing his wand at him.

The Death Eater went rigid and dropped to the floor. He took Céline's hand, making her come to her senses after being horror struck, and he pulled her through the door leaping over the frozen body. Their wands ready for anything and heart pounding.

Céline was still in shock of what just happened. "H-harry.." she said her voice trembling, but he didn't hear her. His mind was filled with two things at the moment; Get to Dumbledore and catch Snape.

As they run down the stairs and they freeze near the landing of that floor with their wands raised. The corridor was filled with dust, part of the ceiling had come down, and there was a battle going on in front of them. The dust made it difficult to make out who was who, but over everything they heard loudly Snape's voice shouting, "it's over! Time to go!" And then they see him pushing Draco around the corner.l in the other side of the landing.

Somehow they pushed through the battle without getting hurt. Harry jumped into it, pulling Céline along, and some of the fighters disengaged themselves and went after them, one of them being the werewolf, Fenrir. Before Céline could even react he lunges at  her dropping her to the ground. Harry feels her hand being wretched out of his and as he quickly turns, he sees Fenrir on top of Céline who had screamed.

She had Fenrir's matted hair dangling over her face, the fowl smell of sweat and blood penetrating her nostrils and mouth, and the hot greedy breath of his at her throat.

"Petrificus Totalus!" He shouted, and Fenrir's body collapsed heavily on Céline. With great effort from both her and Harry, they were able to push him off of her. He helped her up and they ducked just as a jet of green light flew above them. They run into the battle, jumping over two bodies that lay face down in a pool of blood. Céline's eyes widened, but did not have time to see who it was as Harry continued to pull her through.

Harry sees a flash of red hair passing in front of him, and when he saw it was Ginny, she was in a fight with Amycus who was throwing curse after curse at her and she dodged them skillfully.

"Crucio... Crucio! You can't dance forever pretty--"

"Impedimenta!" Céline shouted. Her jinx hit Amycus in the chest sending flying high until he hit the stone wall across the room, then falling and disappearing behind a battle with Ron, Professor McGonagall, and Lupin. All three of them are fighting their own Death Eater and beyond them Tonks fighting a large blonde Death Eater.

"Harry! Céline, where did you come from?" Ginny cried, but they quickly ducked, narrowly dodging another green jet of light. There was no time to talk, he started running and Céline after him. He was running to catch up to Snape, but Céline was running to catch up to Draco, she needed to see him. She absolutely must.

"Alarte Ascendare!" Yells Céline as they run, launching one of the Death Eaters up into the air. They see the brother and sister, Amycus and Alecto rounding the corner up ahead escaping as Snape had ordered. Harry and Céline dodged and ducked hexes and curses being shot their way, nearly slipping on puddles of blood.

Finally they skidded the corner themselves, almost loosing their balance from blood on their shoes and run down the hall. Harry thought they must be trying to reach the Room or Requirements so they can escape through the Vanishing Cabinet, but he also wondered if the Order has it already blocked off. His thoughts were quickly answered when they see the Death Eaters turn and run down the staircase to the front entrance.
