There was a new notice on the board in the Slything Common room.

Career Advice
All fifth years are required to attend a short meeting with their Head of House during the first week of the summer term, in which they will be given an opportunity to discuss their future career. Times of individual appointments are listed below.

Céline looked for her name and saw that she had her appointment with Professor Snape Monday morning at nine. Which meant she would be missing a good portion of Ancient Runes and she didn't mind that one bit.

Career pamphlets littered the coffee table that stood in the middle of the leather couches in the Slytherin common room. It was the last day of the Easter holiday and Céline, Draco, Theo, Daphne and Tracey were sifting through the flyers and tri-folded parchment papers.

"Ugh, look at this? To be a Healer, you need at least an E in your N.E.W.Ts for Potions, Transfiguration, Charms, Herbology and Defense Against the Dark Arts." Daphne whined, "it's not like I want to be a healer, but this is crazy."

"Well, it is a job that holds a lot of responsibility." Tracey said, flipping one of the pamphlets that read Do you have what it takes to train a security troll? "I think Céline would be a good healer."

"Don't you have top grades in all of those classes?" Theo asked Céline, he was leaned back against the couch, resting his feet on Daphne's lap, while eating a chocolate bar.

"I have decent enough grades in most of them, but Professor Snape and Professor Umbridge don't exactly like me. So I doubt they'll let me go into their N.E.W.T class." Céline said, leaning her head on Draco's shoulder. He was holding out a pamphlet in front of them.

"Listen to this one; Are you an adventurous type, looking for a challenging career involving travel, adventure and substantial, danger-related treasure bonuses. Then joining Gringotts Wizarding Bank as Curse Breaker may be the choice for you. It just needs an E in Arithmancy. Greengrass? Are you an adventurous type?" Draco said.

"I never took Arithmancy, because I hate numbers." She said, as she looked at another Pamphlet.

"Here mate, this one's for you." Theo said with a smirk, tossing a pamphlet over to Draco. He catches it and read the title; So You Think You'd Like To Work In Muggle Relations? Draco narrowed his eyes at him, clearly unamused by his friend's joke. "All you need is an O in your O.W.Ls in muggle studies."

Céline looked at the title and couldn't help but giggle, as Draco crumbled the parchment up and threw it back at Theo's head, to which Theo began to laugh.

"Have you thought about what you want to do?" Daphne asked Céline, ignoring Theo's laugh and also attempting to ignore his feet that seemed to have gotten comfortable on her lap.

Céline shrugged, "I guess I kind of have. Or maybe I haven't?" She said unsure, "My parents expect me to join the Department of International Magical Cooperation, like my father."

"But is that what you want to do?" Tracey asked.

Céline sat there and thought about it for moment, before speaking again. "I'm.. not sure. Maybe? I suppose I really haven't given it much thought." She said looking down at all the pamphlets, suddenly feeling slightly overwhelmed.

"Like I said, I think you'd be able to be a great Healer, if you decide to go that route." Tracey said.

"Oh, or maybe an Auror?" Daphne suggested. She pushed off Theo'd feet, letting them fall with a thud to the floor, as she leaned down to pick up a pamphlet for Aurors and handed it over to Céline. She takes it and scanned it over, not realizing that Draco was looking at the pamphlet next to her.
