The next morning, Céline packed a few of her belongings that she was going to bring back to the burrow. She didn't see any reason to stay at Hogwarts over the holiday, if Draco was going back home and so were her friends. She didn't want to be alone.
She knew she would need to speak to Harry and the others today. It looks like Harry really wanted to talk to her.
There was a soft knock on her dorm that grabbed her attention. When she opened it, it was a first year standing in front of the door. "Céline, Harry Potter is outside looking for you." She said.
"Thank you." Céline said and left her room towards the common room. She made it into a habit this term of looking around for Draco. When she didn't see him, she sighed. Only hoping that he wasn't doing anything he shouldn't. She still needed to figure out where he was going and what he was doing.
Walking out into the dungeon, Céline sees Harry leaning against the wall, look rather anxious. She still wasn't sure how to face him still with his suspicions being right. But she was one hundred percent certain that she can't tell him about it. Not if she can do anything to stop Draco. Céline wanted to try first.
"You wanted to see me?" Céline said as she approached him. He gave her a small smile and nodded.
"Hey Céline... yeah I did— er," he looked around and saw some other students loitering around, taking subtle glances over at him. "can we talk somewhere else?"
Céline nodded and followed him up the stairs to the ground floor and entered the first unlocked classroom they could find. For a moment they were silent, unsure of how to begin. Céline walked over to one of the desks and leaned on it. Harry stood by the door still shifting uncomfortably on his feet, looking everywhere but to her.
"Listen, er— I'm sorry, I should have told you in private— er— I mean— not the way you heard it in McGonagall's office.." he said. "It wasn't fair to you.."
"You shouldn't have said it in general..." She mumbled. Harry's eye finally moved to hers and saw that she was staring right back at him. "I know you hate him, Harry. I know his father is a bad person... and he might have wanted to be exactly like his father back then... but he's changed. Yes, he might not be nice to you still— and I don't agree nor am I thinking that him breaking your nose can be justified in any way— but I don't think he would choose to become a Death Eater."
Céline wanted to look away, but she worried with how well Harry knew her, that he would be able to something was off by doing so. So stared at him calmly, trying her best to keep her expression neutral.
Harry stepped forward and leaned in, speaking in a lowered voice "but I heard him speaking to Snape last night. He's up to something and he's not telling Snape."
Céline's eyebrows came together slightly. "Why would he tell Professor Snape anything?" She asked.
"Because Snape is a Death Eater." Harry said. He fought the urge to roll his eyes in irritation because he was tired of reminding the others that Snape is working for Voldemort and no one believing him.
"Harry, " Céline sighed, "He used to be a Death Eater. He works for Dumbledore now. Dumbledore is telling him to act like he's a Death Eater, so that he can know what's going on from the inside. He's only pretending—"
"Is he only pretending when he's told Draco to tell him what he's planning so he can help him. Or that he made an Unbreakable Vow with his mother to protect him from harm?" Said Harry.
"Professor Snape made an Unbreakable Vow with Mrs. Malfoy?" Céline looked at him stunned.
"Yeah, so? What does that mean?"
