The night was dense with mist, the neon lights of Tokyo's streets casting a kaleidoscope of colors against the wet pavement. People moved like shadows, hurriedly avoiding eye contact, each of them with their own secrets to keep. But among them, one figure stood out—not for her appearance, but for the eerie stillness that surrounded her.
She moved with a purpose, eyes sharp and laced with focus, her black hood pulled low to hide the beautiful, rememberable face she yielded. Tonight, she had an urgent mission, and failure was not an option. Her target: a young pro hero with a quirk that could heal in an instant, power that would be useful to the right person or better yet, the right cause.
She watched from the shadows as the hero, oblivious to the threat, performed his nightly patrol. With a silent step, she closed the distance between them, her hand reaching out as if to grasp the air. The moment her fingers brushed against his shoulder, he froze, a look of confusion on his face. His body began to tremble as he felt something being pulled from within, like a string being unraveled from his core.
She smirked. She could feel his strength, his very essence flowing into her like a river into an endless void. She could sense his panic, his desperate attempts to resist, but it was no use. She had him now, and she wouldn't let go until she had taken everything.
As the pro hero collapsed to the ground, gasping and weak, she turned to leave. But then she felt it – a presence, a dark energy watching her from a distance. She was not alone. Someone powerful was observing.
From the shadows, a slow, mocking clap echoed through the alley.
"Impressive," a deep, cold voice purred, filled with amusement.
"I didn't expect to find someone like you... not here, not tonight."
She turned to face the voice, her stance ready for fight or flight. There, leaning casually against a wall, stood a tall, cloaked figure in the darkness, his eyes gleaming red with dangerous curiosity. The main villain of Japan – one whose name sent shivers down even the most hardened spines.
"You've caught my attention," he said, a smile curling on his lips. "Now, tell me...what do you intend to do with all that power?"
In an instant, he had her pinned, being sure to avoid skin-to-skin contact after witnessing what her quirk could do. He glared down at her with fierce intensity, his body heat emanating from him as he leaned closer.
"The slightest movement and I'll blow your goddamn head off," he threatened.
"What the hell!" she growled lowly at his sudden movement.
He smirked slightly, leaning in close.
"You got a smart mouth on you, don't you?" he spoke, his eyes wandering over her face in a calculating way.
She chuckled, the sound low and mocking.
"Well, dangerous games are the only ones worth playing. Besides, aren't you the one that came lurking out of the shadows just to get a closer look?" She tilted her head slightly, her eyes gleaming with mischief.
"Should I be flattered or concerned?"
His grip tightened slightly, but not enough to hurt.
"Maybe both," he replied, smirk growing. He leaned in just enough for her to feel his breath against her cheek.
"You have something I want."
She rolled her eyes, still smiling despite her predicament.
"Don't they all?" she quipped. "But most people at least buy me dinner and a drink first."
He laughed, a low rumbling sound that sent a chill down her spine.
"You've got fire...I like that. But tell me, what's your endgame here? Running around, causing trouble, draining pro heroes of their energy? What's the point?"
She arched a brow, pretending to consider his question seriously.
"I don't know...maybe I'm just bored. Or maybe, just maybe, I enjoy seeing the look on people's faces when they realize everything they are, everything they have built themselves on...is mine now."
Her grin widened, defiance sparking in her eyes.
"But you...I bet you have bigger dreams than that, don't you?"
His smile turned colder, sending another shiver down my hard spine.
"I have ambitions you can't even imagine," he goads.
"And you, with your little trick, could be useful...if you know when to bow to the right master."
Her expression darkened, her playful demeanor changing into something sharper, more dangerous.
"I don't bow to anyone," she said, voice laced with venom.
"And if you think pinning me to a wall is gonna change that, then you're dumber than you look."
There is a brief moment of silence. He leaned in closer, his eyes locked onto hers.
"Oh, I don't need you to bow," he whispered, "I just need you to listen. I can give you more than you have ever taken...and more power than you've ever dreamed of. But only if you stop acting like a damn child playing with fire."
She let out a small, sarcastic laugh.
"Tempting offer, boss man, but I don't play well with others. And I don't take orders."
He leaned back slightly, considering her.
"No, I suppose you wouldn't," he said softly, almost to himself.
"But that defiance...that spark...it could be directed somewhere far more useful. Somewhere that would let you unleash your true potential."
She snorted.
"Yeah? And what's in it for you?"
"Everything," he replied smoothly.
"You see, I don't collect followers...I collect chaos, opportunity. And you, are a walking opportunity waiting to be unleashed."
Her eyes narrowed.
"So, what? You want me to be your attack dog?"
He shrugged, still smirking.
"No, I want you to be...whatever you want to be. But under my guidance, with my resources, we could take down anyone. Heroes, villains...they would all be at our mercy."
She hesitated, just for a split second. Then her grin returned, sharper and more dangerous than before.
"Sounds fun," she admitted.
"But here's the thing...I've never been good at sharing."
His smile widened, predatory and knowing.
"That makes two of us but think about it...you could have a lot more fun with someone who isn't afraid to push back."
She laughed again, a genuine sound this time.
"All right, boss man. You've got my attention. But if you want more than that...you're gonna have to work for it."
He released her slowly, a challenging lingering gaze.
"Deal," he said.
"But don't make me regret it...because I have a feeling, you'll be worth the trouble."
She pushed off the wall, dusting off her hoodie, her eyes still glinting with that defiant spark.
"Oh, I promise," she said, her smile wicked.
"I'll be worth everysecond."
