A few weeks have passed since the karaoke night. Bakugo and Rose are back on speaking terms, although there's still an undercurrent of tension between them. The group has been keeping things low-key, going on smaller missions to avoid drawing too much attention. In the common area, the team is lounging around, relaxing after another minor mission.

Rose, feeling more relaxed, is joking around with the group. She's feeling more at home, and the others seem to be enjoying the lighter mood.

Kaminari grins, "Hey, Siphon, you've been talking about how strong your quirk is. Why don't you give us a little demonstration?"

Rose smirks and rolls her eyes playfully as he refers to her as her quirk. Oh, you think you can handle it, Sparky? My quirk might be a bit too much for you."

Sero laughs, "Yeah, Kaminari, she might fry more than your circuits."

Kirishima teases, "Come on, Kaminari, don't be a coward. Let's see what Rose can do!"

Kaminari, never one to back down from a challenge, puffs out his chest. "Bring it on, Siphon! I can take it."

Rose smirks, "Alright, just remember, you asked for it."

Rose stands up and moves closer to Kaminari. She places her hand on his arm, her expression turning more focused as she begins to drain his energy. A faint, subtle glow surrounds her hand as she channels her quirk.

Kaminari laughs at first, but his smile quickly fades as he starts to feel the drain. "Whoa... okay, that's... whoa..."

Rose grins, enjoying the moment. She drains just enough energy to make Kaminari collapse onto a nearby chair, but not enough to knock him out. "How's that, Sparky? Feeling a little light-headed?"

Kaminari laughs weakly, "Okay... yeah... that's... pretty strong. You win, Siphon."

Sero laughs, "He looks like he just ran a marathon!"

Kirishima grins, "Nice one, Rose. But you're not gonna leave him like that, right?"

Rose teases, "Oh, I don't know... maybe I should give him the 'kiss of life' to bring him back to normal?"

The group laughs, enjoying the joke. Rose moves closer to Kaminari, her tone still playful. "Relax, Sparky. I'll give you your energy back—no kissing required."

Kaminari whines playfully, "That's...too bad..."

Rose places her hand on Kaminari's arm again, focusing as she transfers his energy back to him. It's a straightforward process, and she can feel the energy flow between them, but it feels nothing like the moment she shared with Bakugo during the mission.

Kaminari sighs in relief, "Thanks, Siphon. That feels... way better. But, wow, you really pack a punch."

Bakugo, who has been standing off to the side, pretends to be focused on something else, but his eyes are fixed on Rose and Kaminari. As he watches Rose joke and touch Kaminari, his jaw tightens, and a knot of jealousy forms in his chest.

"Why the hell does it bother me so much?" he thinks, his fists clenching slightly. "It's just her damn quirk. She's done it before."

But he can't help the flare of jealousy that surges when he remembers the way it felt when Rose transferred energy to him—the warmth, the unexpected connection. He wonders if she felt the same with Kaminari, and the thought makes his chest tighten painfully.

Bakugo grumbles to himself, "Tch... idiots."

Rose glances over and notices Bakugo's expression. She senses the tension in his posture and wonders what he's thinking. She can't help but feel a flicker of something—curiosity, maybe even a hint of satisfaction at seeing him react.

After the demonstration, the group slowly disperses, returning to their rooms for the night. Rose heads to her room, her mind still on the events of the day. She sits on her bed, her thoughts wandering back to the moment during the mission with Deku's team when she had to give Bakugo energy.

"Why did that feel so... different?" she wonders, frowning slightly. "It was just my quirk. I've used it before. But with Bakugo... it felt... intense."

She thinks about how she felt when she touched Kaminari earlier—nothing like the sensation when she touched Bakugo. It was clinical, a simple transfer of energy, nothing more. But with Bakugo, there was a warmth, a pull she didn't understand.

Rose murmurs to herself, "Why am I even thinking about this? It's just Bakugo... just... the boss."

She shakes her head, feeling a mix of frustration and confusion. She's not used to feeling this way—unsure, conflicted. "Maybe I'm just overthinking it," she tells herself, though deep down, she knows there's something more.

Meanwhile, in his room, Bakugo is pacing, his mind racing. He's replaying the scene over and over—the way Rose joked with Kaminari, the way she touched him. His jealousy feels irrational, but he can't help it.

"Why do I care?" he thinks angrily. "Why the hell does it matter if she uses her quirk on Kaminari? It shouldn't."

But he knows it does. He knows it's because of that moment during the mission—because of the way he felt when she gave him her energy. He's never felt that way before, never felt such an unexpected connection. And the idea that she could share that with someone else drives him crazy.

He sits down, running a hand through his hair. He knows he needs to get a grip, but every time he thinks he's managed to push it aside, it comes back stronger.

Back in her room, Rose sighs, lying back on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. She can't shake the feeling that something is changing—inside her, between her and Bakugo. She thinks back to the way he's been avoiding her, the tension between them.

"Is he avoiding me because of that moment?" she wonders. "Does he feel... something too?"

She feels a flutter of uncertainty in her chest—a strange, unfamiliar sensation. "Am I... am I actually feeling something for him?"

The night passes with both Bakugo and Rose lost in their thoughts, each grappling with their growing feelings and the uncertainty that comes with them. Both are too stubborn to confront it head-on, but neither can deny that something has changed.
