As they gather near the mission spot, Rose stands with Bakugo's group, explaining the quirks of her cousin and grandmother.

"Okay, before things kick off, you need to know what Rio and Grandma can do," she begins, her voice low but urgent. "Rio's quirk is called Amplification. He can boost our quirks by feeding us energy. It's powerful, but it can be draining for him, so don't rely on it unless we need it."

"That sounds awesome," Kaminari mutters, impressed. "But what about Grandma?"

"Grandma's quirk is Vital Echo. She can absorb energy and reflect it back as waves or pulses. She uses her cane to direct her attacks, so don't let her age fool you—she's lethal."

The group exchanges surprised glances, but they quickly refocus as they hear the convoy approaching in the distance.

The sound of engines grows louder as the convoy arrives, and Rio's team moves into position. Bakugo and his group ready themselves, but Bakugo's attention is quickly drawn to Diego, who's making his way toward Rose.

"What the hell is he doing?" Bakugo thinks, his fists clenching as he watches Diego approach Rose. It's clear from Diego's smirk that he's not just here to fight—he's here to prove something.

Diego positions himself close to Rose, working in sync with her as if trying to show Bakugo how well they move together. His body language, his proximity to Rosalia—it all screams one thing: I'm better for her.

Bakugo feels his blood boil, the rage bubbling up inside him. "Oh, you think you're better?" Without hesitation, Bakugo moves to Rose's side, making a point to show how much she relies on him—not just in battle, but in every way.

As the fight intensifies, Bakugo intercepts attacks aimed at Rose, blasting enemies back with his quirk while keeping a protective stance around her. He knows that Diego is watching, and he wants to make it crystal clear: She doesn't need you. She's with me.

Diego isn't backing down. He moves fluidly, working to sync up with Rosalia during the fight, destabilizing objects nearby to cause explosions that complement her attacks. He grins, glancing at Bakugo, clearly trying to prove his point: We work better together. I know her better than you.

While Bakugo and Diego are locked in their subtle power struggle over Rose, the rest of the group is engaged in their own fights, but they can't help but notice Grandma from a distance.

"Dude... is Grandma kicking ass right now?" Kirishima asks in awe, watching as Grandma uses her cane to send waves of disruptive energy toward the convoy guards. Her movements are slow and deliberate, but each pulse of energy knocks enemies off balance or weakens them just enough for Rio's men to finish them off.

"She's like a freakin' legend," Sero mutters, half-disbelieving what he's seeing. "I can't believe we underestimated her."

As the battle rages on, Bakugo and Rose continue to fight in perfect sync. Every time she needs energy, Bakugo is there, offering her what she needs without hesitation. The subtle connection between them becomes more apparent with every passing moment, and it's driving Diego mad.

Diego grits his teethas he watches Bakugo and Rose move together, their bond clear even in the heatof battle. He throws another explosive charge at a nearby object as a guardapproaches, but his irritation is growing.
