The next morning, the group gathers in the common area for a meeting. The air is tense—everyone knows the previous mission yielded important intel, but no one knows the full details yet. Bakugo stands at the head of the room, his usual confident demeanor in place, but there's an underlying tension in his eyes as he looks at Rose briefly before turning to address the team.

Bakugo clears his throat, folding his arms as he prepares to brief the group. "We've got the intel from the last mission," he begins, his voice steady. "There's some sensitive information stored at hero agencies that might be connected to us. They're starting to piece things together." He keeps his tone neutral, but his mind flickers back to Rose's file—the glaring gaps in information that make him uneasy.

"We don't have much time before they try to move again," Bakugo continues, focusing on the mission at hand. "We'll need to be ready to act as soon as we know what our next target is." He keeps his expression calm, though inside he's still wrestling with everything he learned about Rose—and everything he still doesn't know.

As Bakugo explains the situation, the group exchanges worried glances. They've been in tough spots before, but something about this feels different—more personal. Rose, meanwhile, stays quiet, her mind still spinning from her conversation with Bakugo the night before.

Kirishima frowns, leaning forward in his seat. "What do you mean, they're starting to piece things together?" he asks, his voice tinged with concern. "How close are they to figuring out who we are?"

Kaminari glances at Rose, a worried expression crossing his face. "If they're getting close... are we safe here?" he asks. "What if they target one of us?" His eyes linger on her, the unspoken fear clear between the group—what if she's already being targeted?

Bakugo's jaw tightens, his eyes narrowing slightly. "We're always a target," he says gruffly. "But we'll be ready. We've been one step ahead before, and we'll stay ahead this time." He deliberately avoids going into detail about Rose's part in the file—he knows it's not the right time to bring it up, not until he gets more answers from her.

The conversation shifts slightly as Kaminari speaks up, his usual playful demeanor replaced by a more serious tone. "I finished building that signal infiltration device we talked about," he says, leaning back in his seat with a small smirk. "It's ready to go whenever we need it."

Kaminari gestures to the small device he's been working on for weeks—a custom-built system designed to hack into secure networks. "This thing will let us access any hero agency's systems without them knowing," he explains, his voice filled with pride. "We can use it to pull information, disrupt communications, and even alter security feeds if we need to."

Rose nods, grateful for Kaminari's contribution, though her mind is still preoccupied with the implications of the file. "They're starting to piece things together... about me." She feels a weight settle in her chest, knowing that her past is slowly catching up to her, whether she's ready to face it or not.

Bakugo gives Kaminari a nod of approval, though his mind is still half-occupied with everything swirling around Rose. "Good," he says, keeping his voice steady. "We'll need that for our next mission. We're not gonna wait around for them to come after us—we'll strike first."
