The group gathers in the hideout's meeting room, the air thick with tension. It's only been a short time since Bakugo's life sentence was announced, but the group knows they can't waste any more time. Rose, her eyes still darkened with the weight of her emotions, stands at the head of the table. Her usual calm is gone, replaced by a cynical edge that the others haven't seen before.
Rose grips the edge of the table, her mind racing. "This has to work." She looks at the group, her voice hard and unyielding. "We're going to break Bakugo out of that prison," she states, her tone leaving no room for argument. Her eyes flicker with a dangerous intensity. "I don't care what it takes. We're getting him back."
Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero exchange uneasy glances. They knew she would want to take charge, but there's something different about her now—something darker. She's not the same as before, and they can all see the toll this is taking on her.
The group begins going over the details of the breakout, trying to think of ways to get past the high-security defenses of the prison. But as they discuss different strategies, Rose's impatience starts to show. Her usual strategic thinking is overshadowed by a more reckless, sadistic edge.
"We could just bomb the place," Rose says casually, her voice laced with bitterness. She doesn't look up from the plans on the table, her mind spinning with the possibilities. "Blow the whole damn thing up. Get Bakugo out while the rest of them burn."
Kaminari's eyes widen in shock. "Rosalia, we can't—" He stops himself, unsure of how to even respond. He's never seen her like this before. "That's too risky. We'd kill a lot of people."
Rose shrugs, her expression cold. "So what?" she mutters. She knows her suggestion is reckless, but she can't bring herself to care. "As long as we get Bakugo back, what does it matter?" Her quirk is buzzing inside her, feeding off her dark emotions, and it's making her more unstable by the minute.
As the discussion continues, it becomes clear that Rose's emotional state is affecting her judgment. She's pushing for more extreme measures, her focus entirely on getting Bakugo back, no matter the cost. The group watches her with growing concern, realizing that her quirk is taking its toll on her.
Kirishima leans forward, his voice careful but firm. "Rose, we need to be smart about this," he says, trying to rein her in. "We can't just blow up a maximum-security prison. There has to be another way."
Sero nods in agreement, his voice softer. "We're all hurting, but we have to plan this out. We can't afford to be reckless."
Rose's hands clench into fists as they speak. She knows they're right, but the pain in her chest is suffocating her, and her quirk is feeding off it. "I can't think straight." Her eyes flash with frustration as she glares at the plans in front of her. "You think I don't know that?" she snaps. "But we don't have time to sit around and plan this for weeks. Bakugo's in there now!"
As the meeting drags on, it becomes clear that Rose isn't well. She's growing more agitated, her quirk spiraling out of control. She's pale, her hands shaking slightly as she continues to push for more reckless actions. The group can see the strain it's putting on her, but they don't know how to help.
Kaminari watches her closely, his concern growing with every passing minute. "Rosalia... your quirk," he says quietly. "You're not okay."
Rose flinches at his words, her chest tightening. She knows her quirk is draining her, feeding off her emotions, but she can't stop. She feels like she's drowning in the need for Bakugo's energy, and without it, she's spiraling. "I'm fine," she mutters through gritted teeth, but even she doesn't believe it.
As the meeting comes to a close, the group realizes the enormity of the task ahead of them. Breaking Bakugo out of maximum security will take time—weeks, maybe even months of planning. But Rose's state is making everything more difficult.
Kirishima sighs, his shoulders slumping. "We need more time," he says quietly, looking at the others. "We can't rush this, no matter how much we want to. If we mess this up, we're all done."
Sero nods, his expression grim. "But we also need to keep an eye on Rose. She's not doing well."
Rose listens to them, her heart sinking. "I don't have time. I need him now." The thought of waiting weeks, maybe months, to save Bakugo is unbearable. Her mind races, searching for any way to speed up the process, but the exhaustion is weighing her down. She feels like she's losing control—of her quirk, of herself.
