The getaway car races down the dark, empty roads, the headlights cutting through the night as they speed toward the airfield. Inside, the tension is thick, with Bakugo in the backseat holding Rose close, pressing his hand firmly against the wound in her side. Her breathing is shallow, and her skin feels cold beneath his fingers.

Bakugo's heart pounds as he watches her eyes flutter closed again, her head resting against his shoulder. "Stay with me, damn it," he growls, pressing harder against her wound in a desperate attempt to slow the bleeding. "You don't get to pass out on me now."

His voice is rough, but there's a layer of fear underneath. The sight of her like this—pale, weak, vulnerable—gnaws at him in ways he can't admit out loud. "I'm not losing her. Not like this."

In the front seat, Kaminari grips the steering wheel tightly, glancing back at Bakugo and Rose with worry etched across his face. Sero sits beside him, scanning the rearview mirror for any sign of pursuit.

"We're about ten minutes out from the airfield," Kaminari says, his voice strained but focused. "Rosalia's got a jet waiting for us there. Once we're airborne, we'll be out of range of the heroes."

He pauses, glancing over at Sero before continuing. "There are medical supplies on board too. We'll patch her up as soon as we're in the air."

Bakugo's focus is entirely on Rose, his hand stained with her blood as he presses down on the wound. Her eyes flicker open again, and she tries to speak, her voice barely above a whisper.

"I... I need to tell you something," she murmurs, her voice weak but urgent. Her eyes search Bakugo's face, her breath coming in shallow gasps. "I love you, dammit."

Bakugo's heart skips a beat, his chest tightening at her words. But instead of the relief or joy he might have felt in a different moment, all he feels is fear. "Don't say it like it's your last goddamn words," he snaps, his voice rough with emotion. He pulls her closer, his hand trembling slightly as he presses harder against her wound. "You're not fucking dying. You're going to be fine. So, save it for when we're out of here."

Suddenly, the distant wail of sirens fills the air, sending a wave of anxiety through the car. Sero looks back at Kaminari, his voice tight with urgency. "We've got company."

Kaminari's hands grip the wheel even tighter, his knuckles turning white. "We're almost there. Just a little longer," he mutters, pressing his foot harder on the gas pedal. "Hold on, Rosalia. We're getting you out of this."

Rose shifts slightly in Bakugo's arms, her breath shaky as she speaks again. "The jet... it's stocked with everything we need. Medical supplies... fuel... we just need to get there."

Bakugo grits his teeth, his frustration bubbling over. "We know! We're almost there!" His voice cracks with an edge of desperation as he turns toward Kaminari. "Drive faster, Kaminari! We don't have time!"

Bakugo's hand stays firmly pressed against her wound, his heart hammering in his chest as her eyes flutter closed again. He shakes her gently, his voice lower now, almost pleading. "Rosalia, don't you dare close your eyes, dammit. We're almost there. You're going to make it."

Rose's lips curl into a weak smile, her eyelids heavy. "Katsuki..." she whispers, her voice soft but full of affection. "You're so... stubborn."

He lets out a shaky breath, his grip tightening as he holds her close. "Yeah, well... you better get used to it. I'm not letting you go."

Kaminari's voice breaks through the tense silence. "We're here. I see the jet."

The car speeds ontothe tarmac, and in the distance, the sleek outline of the jet comes into view, illuminated by the runway lights. The group lets out a collective sigh ofrelief, but the tension doesn't fade. There's still too much at stake.
