Rose walks through headquarters the next day with her bag slung over her shoulder, eyeing the space of makeshift living quarters – functional but not luxurious. There's also a common area, a kitchen, and several private rooms. It's not what she's used to, but it'll do. She can feel the eyes of the others on her, a mix of curiosity and caution.
Kirishima grins, "Welcome to your new home! Hope you like it, It's, uh, cozy...in a villainous sort of way."
Rose smirks, "I've stayed in worse places. At least it doesn't smell like a gym locker."
Kaminari laughs, "Give it time. You haven't seen Bakugo's training sessions yet."
Bakugo cuts in with a serious tone, "You're here to work, dammit, not lounge around. Get your stuff settled. Training starts tomorrow at dawn."
Rose rolls her eyes but nods, following Kirishima to the room that's been set aside for her. It's small, with a basic bed, a desk, and a small window, but it's private. She tosses her bag onto the bed and takes a moment to herself, glancing around.
So, this is it. Playing nice with the boys. Let's see how long I last before I drive them crazy...or they drive me out.
The next morning, the common area is alive with activity. Rose wakes up early, determined to prove she can handle anything Bakugo throws at her. She heads out to find the others already gathered, stretching and preparing for training.
Bakugo stands at the center of the room, barking instructions. He glances at Rose as she approaches, his expression unreadable but intense.
"Glad you're awake. We don't waste time here, dumbass. You're with me today. I want to see what the hell you can really do," he says.
Rose raises an eyebrow, "Thought I already proved myself."
Bakugo smirks, "Proving yourself once doesn't mean you're done. You want to stay here, you gotta keep the hell up."
He puts her through a series of intense physical exercises – combat drills, endurance runs, and sparring sessions. Rose, determined not to show any weakness, keeps up with every challenge. Bakugo pushes her harder than the others, testing her limits and gauging her reactions.
Later, Bakugo sets up a scenario where Rose has to work with Kirishima and Kaminari to navigate an obstacle course while avoiding traps and "enemies." She quickly realizes that teamwork isn't her strong suit – she's used to working alone.
The team gathers in the common area, catching their breath. Kirishima and Kaminari are chatting, while Bakugo watches Rose closely, still trying to read her.
Kirishima speaks up enthusiastically, "You did great, Rose! Not bad for your first day with the team."
Kaminari lets out, teasingly, "Yeah, you didn't even try to drain us for energy. I'm impressed!"
Rose smirks, "I'll save that for when you really annoy me, Sparky."
Bakugo steps forward, interrupting the banter.
"You kept up, but you've got a lot to learn about working with a team, dammit. Keep it up, and you might actually prove you belong here."
Rose quirks a brow, a small smile playing on her lips.
"Don't worry. I'mjust getting started."
