The next morning, the hideout is quiet. The group is lounging in the common area, scattered around the couches and chairs. It's a slow start to the day, and they're all relaxing after the successful mission and the previous night's antics. The sound of a door opening catches their attention, and they all glance up as Bakugo and Rose step out of his room, clearly having spent the night together.
Rose steps out first, feeling a light flush on her cheeks as she catches the group's eyes on her. She's wearing the same clothes from the night before, though her hair is a bit messier, and there are a few telltale marks on her neck that she hasn't bothered to hide. Her hand brushes against Bakugo's as they walk, and despite the attention, there's a certain confidence in her step.
Bakugo walks out behind her, his usual scowl in place, but there's an air of nonchalance about him. He's dressed in a loose shirt and sweatpants, and while he's not exactly flaunting it, there's no mistaking the marks on his neck and collarbone, or the way his demeanor has shifted slightly. He doesn't care what the group thinks anymore.
The group exchanges glances as the two walk in, a mix of smirks and raised eyebrows. They've seen this dynamic growing for a while now, but it's clear that last night was a turning point. The evidence is all over them—literally.
Kirishima chuckles softly, leaning over to Kaminari. "Looks like they had a good night," he says, his tone light but teasing. He raises an eyebrow at Bakugo, who meets his gaze with a shrug, as if daring him to say anything.
Kaminari grins, nudging Kirishima with his elbow. "Yeah, no kidding," he says, his eyes darting to the marks on Rose's neck. "Guess we don't need to ask what happened."
The group grows bolder, and it's Kirishima who finally speaks up. "So... what are you two exactly?" he asks, his tone curious but amused. The group has been wondering for a while, but now that it's obvious, they want to hear it straight from the source.
Bakugo shrugs, not really interested in having this conversation. "What does it look like?" he says gruffly, his voice indifferent. He's not one to make a big deal out of things, but he also doesn't care to hide it anymore.
Rose, however, is more playful. She smiles at the group, giving them a teasing look. "We're together," she says simply, her tone light. "But seriously, stay out of our business." There's a teasing edge to her voice, though it's clear she's not embarrassed about the relationship.
The group chuckles at her teasing tone, but Kaminari can't resist pushing it a little further. "Oh, trust me, we'd love to stay out of it," he says with a grin, "but it's kinda hard when we hear Bakugo's name being called out at 2 in the morning."
Rose's eyes widen slightly, her cheeks flushing as she stifles a laugh. She gives Kaminari a playful glare, though there's no real anger behind it. "Maybe you should invest in some earplugs, Denki," she quips, rolling her eyes.
Bakugo just grunts, clearly unfazed by the teasing. "Shut up," he mutters, but there's no heat in his voice. He doesn't care what they think, not anymore. Rose is his, and that's all that matters.
