It's been a few days since the mission, and Rose has been unconscious the entire time. Bakugo, unable to leave her side, kept her in his bed, determined to make sure she was okay. The others—Kaminari, Kirishima, and Sero—have been checking in frequently, their concern growing as the days passed, but Bakugo has been the one constantly watching over her.
Rose stirs, her body feeling heavy and drained. She opens her eyes slowly, the soft light filtering into the room blurring her vision for a moment. As her senses return, she realizes she's lying in a bed that isn't hers. Confusion washes over her before the familiar scent of Bakugo reaches her, and she glances around. "Bakugo's room?" she thinks, her mind racing. "How long have I been out?"
She tries to sit up, but her body feels weak, and her limbs barely cooperate. That's when she notices Bakugo sitting in a chair beside the bed, his arms crossed, head tilted slightly as though he'd been keeping an eye on her. He's still wearing his villain uniform, though it's slightly disheveled, a sign he hasn't left her side in days.
Bakugo notices the movement immediately. His eyes snap open, locking onto her as she struggles to sit up. Relief washes over him, though he doesn't say it out loud. "Finally awake, huh?" he mutters, his voice rough from lack of sleep. He stands and moves to the bed, standing over her as she tries to adjust. "You had us all worried."
Rose blinks, trying to shake the grogginess from her mind. Her heart flutters at the sight of him so close, and she can't help but notice the tired look in his eyes. "He's been here this whole time?" she wonders, her chest tightening. "What... what happened?"
Bakugo sits on the edge of the bed, his usual harshness softened by the worry he's been carrying. "You overdid it with that damn mirror quirk," he says gruffly, his eyes scanning her face for any sign of weakness. "You drained yourself, and your quirk's been acting up since then. I've had to keep you close to make sure it didn't get worse."
Rose listens, her chest tightening as she pieces together what happened. She reaches up to touch her forehead, feeling the lingering exhaustion in her bones. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to worry everyone." Her voice is soft, guilt creeping in. "I didn't expect it to backfire like that."
Bakugo shakes his head, his expression hardening slightly. "Don't apologize," he mutters, though there's a softness in his voice that surprises even him. "You're always trying to prove a point." He pauses for a moment, his eyes lingering on her. "I couldn't leave you alone. I had to make sure you were alright."
The air between them shifts, thick with unspoken words. Bakugo's closeness, the raw emotion in his voice, and the intensity of his gaze stir something deep within her. She can feel the heat rising between them, a tension that's been building for a while, now finally breaking the surface.
Her heart races, and she can't tear her eyes away from him. There's something different about the way he's looking at her—something more vulnerable, more possessive. She can feel it in the way his hand rests on the bed beside her, his body just inches from hers. Her throat goes dry as she whispers, "Bakugo..."
Bakugo's gaze darkens as he hears his name on her lips. Something snaps inside him, and before he can stop himself, he leans in closer, his hand brushing against her cheek. "You scared the hell out of me," he admits, his voice low and husky. His thumb traces the edge of her jaw, his touch both gentle and possessive. "I don't like seeing you like this."
Rose's breath hitches as his fingers trail down her neck, sending shivers through her body. The tension between them becomes unbearable, and without thinking, she reaches out, her hand resting on his chest. She can feel the heat of his skin beneath his shirt, his heart pounding as hard as hers.
"Bakugo..." she whispers again, her voice barely audible. Her fingers curl into his shirt, pulling him closer as her body reacts to the intensity of the moment. She feels the familiar craving for his energy, but this time, it's mixed with something else—something deeper. "I need you..."
Bakugo's breath catches at her words, his control slipping as he closes the distance between them. "I know," he mutters, his lips brushing against her ear. His hand moves to her waist, pulling her against him as their bodies press together. "You've always needed me."
Their lips crash together in a heated kiss, the tension that's been simmering between them finally boiling over. Her fingers dig into his chest as she leans into him, her body craving not just his energy but his touch, his presence, everything about him.
As they kiss, she feels the familiar warmth of his energy surging through her, but this time it's different—it's not just about the quirk. It's about the connection they've been building, the unspoken feelings between them that are finally coming to the surface.
"Dammit, Bakugo...it's like I'm addicted to you," she says as he leans her back onto the bed.
He lets out a low groan into the kiss, his grip on her tightening. He wastes no time in climbing onto Rose, his body pinning her down as he deepens the kiss.
His hands begin to wander, earning a low moan from her. "You make such pretty noises for me," he whispers into her neck.
Rose's hands begin to crawl underneath his shirt. He pulls away for a moment and lets her take off his shirt, giving her a perfect view of his bare upper body. Bakugo pins her back down, crashing their lips together again, eager to explore her mouth.
He slips his hands under her shirt and raises it over her head, tossing the clothing as his hands wander again. He lets out another low groan as he feels her quirk giving him that warm feeling again, almost erotic.
His kisses trail down her neck and chest, hands getting more bold as they wander to more sensitive spots. She helps him kick off his pants and he helps Rose out of hers. Their actions become more hungry, fueled by the need for one another on a deeper, emotional level.
He breaks their kiss, locking eyes with her, "Dammit, I didn't know when I found you that you'd do this to me," he states as his fingers begin to play with her. She arches her back, and he takes the opportunity to kiss and nip her chest.
Bakugo plays her, her quirk lighting something within him. The second the last bit of their clothing is discarded, he's pushing the head of his length into her, earning a gasp from Rose. He smirks down at her, "You're so goddamn beautiful, dammit."
His hips set a slow and steady rhythm, allowing her to catch her breath and get used to his size. She reaches up and wraps her arms around his neck, pulling his body down onto hers.
He picks up his pace, her nails digging into his back as he pulls back slightly and wraps a hand around her throat. She lets out a low whimper before placing a hand on his and squeezing it, silently telling him to put more pressure.
Bakugo smirks at the gesture and obeys. Rose lets out muffled moans as he works his body against hers. He feels her clenching his length inside of her and lets go of her throat as she lets out a loud moan and reaches her climax.
He lets her ride out her high for a while before his own release follows. His movements become rough and sloppy as the headboard to the bed hits the wall. With a last thrust, he buries himself inside of her, spilling himself inside of her.
They lay together, panting and glistening with a thin layer of sweat. Rose deactivates her quirk, both feeling satisfied as she lays her head on his chest.
