S1 Chapter 21

Aria's POV

"So, we should all hang out later. Like old times." Bridget suggested, smiling.

"Yeah, sleepover maybe?" Logan added.

"I guess-" I stopped listening to them, watching Kylie as she opened her locker.

Honestly, something is wrong with that girl. I feel like she's here for the same reason Kat and Sophie were here for. If that's the case then we should just get this over with.

The same reason Sophie and Kat were here for.. Hades.

What on Earth does Hades want with us?

Is he really Dragon's Father?

There's so many questions that need to be answered. I need to know if I'm being delusional or not.

"Why are you staring at her?" Bridget asked in disgust.

"Because I can."

Kylie walked past us, giving me a chance to invite her over. "Kylie, come here!" I shouted out to her.

The three of them looked at me with a 'what the hell' expression on their face as Kylie strolled over to our circle.

"Yeah? Oh, and I'm sorry about the other day." She apologized awkwardly, avoiding the others gazes.

"Forget about that already. And I just wanted you to come hang with me and my friends."

Bridget rolled her eyes. "Yeah.. so is the sleepover on or what?"

"Sure."

"You guys are having a sleepover?" Kylie questioned.

"Yep." Logan answered casually.

"Uh.. this is too much to ask but mind if I join?" She held her arm. "I mean, if you don't want me to then that's fine-"

"Maybe next time." I told her, the bell ringing. "Later."

I stalked off, heading to my class. Bridget rushed up beside me. "What the hell was that about?"

"That girl.. she's probably here for the same reason Kat and Sophie were. If we invite her over, we can confirm this and get it over with."

"Oh. I literally thought you had gone stupid for a second."

I hissed through my teeth. "Says the dumb blonde."

"Shut the fuck up. Let's just hurry and get to class."

"Yeah, yeah." We walked quickly to our class.

It's now nighttime and we all were sitting in a circle in the main area of The Water Kingdom.

I listened to the others conversations but I couldn't think of anything to say. My mind was filled with thoughts on Kylie. It's making me feel uncomfortable. She just has to be here for the same reason Sophie and Kat were. But the reason Sophie and Kat were here was because of Hades.

And what the fuck does Hades want to do with me?

''Guys, you know about Kylie right? I think she's here for the same reason Sophie and Kat were. It would make sense. Since when do a bunch of transfer students come to our shitty school? Also consider our last experience when thinking about this.'' I told them.

''I definitely agree.'' Bridget muttered bitterly. Ever since the last experience with Sophie and Kat, she can't stand new kids. It's only understandable, they tried to kill us and plus they acted like a bitch towards her.
