''It's been a week, Zeus. I've kidnapped your precious grandson. I've let you both stay here in the Dark Kingdom. When are you going to give me the Light Kingdom?'' Soul questioned, his arms crossed against his chest.

Zeus stood in front of him with his back faced to him. Soul had stopped him in his tracks to interrogate him. Truth be told, Zeus hadn't thought about it at all. He's been focusing on breaking Carter down piece by piece.

He could care less about handing Soul the Light Kingdom. The man was a fool to accept the deal in the first place. He should've trusted his instincts and rejected it.

''Soon, Soul. Soon.'' Zeus assured shortly, walking away.

Soul squeezed his knuckles so hard that they cracked. He knew that the bastard was lying. He wasn't buying his response one bit.

He waited eight years to finally do his part of the deal and the snake couldn't hold up to his. Zeus can have it his way, then; time isn't on his side anymore.

He's going to kill him. He's going to kill them all.

Starting from Zeus to his precious grandson— to the rest of his family.

If he wasn't going to get the Light Kingdom, then he would just take it by force.

. . .

One of Aria's employees on the search team ran into her office. ''Ma'am, ma'am!'' She shouted out of breath. The rest of the team followed suit right after.

Aria's head snapped up, she was doing paperwork. ''Yes?'' She answered, sounding hopeful.

''We found him. Or at least we think so. We couldn't check out the place further without getting caught.'' Her employee informed.

A bright smile formed on Aria's face. She couldn't believe it. It was only a maybe, but the fact that Carter was still out there- they had to save him. ''Where is he?''

''The Dark Kingdom, ma'am.''

Her face immediately dropped. She couldn't step near that place without feeling lightheaded. Darkness was her weakness. All of her enemies knew that.

Maybe that's why Zeus chose the Dark Kingdom.

''Okay. You all are dismissed. Thank you for your hard work.'' Aria spoke politely to, receiving a few smiles and 'you're welcome' before she was left in the silence of her own office once again.

Regardless of where he was and the effects of it, they still had to save him. It didn't matter. His life was on their hands.

Aria grabbed her phone quickly, calling up Nate. ''We found him.''

. . .

''Scarlett, sweetie! They found him! They're going to go look for him tonight-'' Razor stopped in her tracks, immediately spotting the fresh scars on her daughter's thighs. She was standing in front of the mirror changing her clothes quickly, but not fast enough for her to not notice.

''Scar..'' Razor trailed off sadly.

Scarlett turned around, completely oblivious to the fact she saw. ''Where is he?! Is he okay?!''

''The Dark Kingdom.. but honey.. what was that?'' Razor questioned although she already knew the answer.

''What was what?'' Scarlett asked slowly, suspecting that she saw.

''You know what I'm talking about, Scarlett.'' Razor responded quietly but firmly.

Her suspicions were confirmed with that and she didn't know what to say. How was she supposed to explain why when she didn't really understand it herself?

''Sweetie.. talk to me please.'' She croaked, already tearing up. Razor couldn't believe it. What could she have done to prevent this? Did she not get it across enough that she's loved?

Why would she hurt herself like this?

''M-Mommy.. I...'' Scarlett swallowed the lump in her throat, the hot salty tears forming in her eyes. Razor stepped closer to her and pulled her daughter into a hug.

''Never do this again, you hear me?'' Razor cried, sniffling.

Scarlett stayed silent, burying her face into her mother's shoulder as she let out a big sob. Razor rubbed her back, hoping that it would help calm her down. Hoping that maybe by holding her in her arms, the message would get across.

She is loved. She is a miracle.

Razor wanted nothing more for her to see that.
