S1 Chapter 8

Aria's POV

School was just really plain boring. But I guess It was actually okay since my three best friends were there. Just me and them hanging out will brighten up my day enough.

Finally, hours went by, and then we were out of school. Bridget and Logan headed out and walked back home, and Nate headed to the water kingdom. He's gonna be living with me now, since we made up and all. I can pull pranks on him now.

The grass created ruffling sounds as I walked into the woods. Damn, this grass is green as ever. Someone probably has been tending the plants around here or something.

And then out of fucking nowhere a crow comes cawing towards me, landing on my shoulder. Where the hell did this crow come from? Who does It even to belong to anyway?

The crow has dark feathers, It's beak a gray color, his claws matching his feathers; and It's eyes are raven black with a tint of red In them. Damn, this crow looks amazing.

''Seriously Shiver.'' I heard a voice yell, hearing a bunch of ruffling noises come from the bushes near the spruce tree that Is leaning against the cabin. The crow cawed at the voice, and the person came out of the bushes, walking towards me.

The person has black hair and black eyes. Tattoos are traced on his arms, one of them Is a dragon breathing out fire with blood covered all over the dragon.

That tattoo looks pretty awesome.

''Uh.... Sorry about Shiver, shes just curious most of the times.'' He said awkwardly, taking the crow off my shoulder and putting her on his shoulder.

''It's fine, I don't mind. She's a cool crow In my opinion.'' I said to him, trying to make the conversation less awkward. Why am I talking to a complete stranger right now? I don't know.

''Oh, okay. My name is Dragon, what about you?'' Looks like we're both trying to make this conversation not awkward. I guess he gets his name from his tattoo.

''The name is Aria. You have a lot of awesome tattoos, by the way.'' Why am I being so nice? And why Is my heart beating so fast? Am I actually nervous?

Don't show It, Aria. You know you don't get nervous because of a guy.

I seriously think I'm going insane right now.

''You have a cute name. Anyways, thanks for kinda helping me find my crow. If she didn't land on your shoulder I didn't think I was gonna survive running to find her.'' He joked sarcastically.

''It's no problem. I'll see you later, I guess?'' I really want to hang out with him right now though, and I don't know why.

''Sure. Bye, Aria.'' He walked off, his crow cawing on his shoulder.

Bridget's POV

Today has to be the best day of my life.

I finally got to see Nate after so long. He still looks fucking hot, I have to admit.

I tried so hard to keep a staight face today, but literally seeing Nate made me blush. I've liked him ever since we were kids, not even Logan or Aria knows that though.

We always use to hang out with eachother when we were little. Whenever me, Logan, and Aria went to the park, Nate would tag along and I would end up hanging out with him.

Even after seeing him after all these years, I can still feel the butterflies In my stomach. I guess It's never really going away.

But It's not even the time to worry about crushes. I feel like something bad Is gonna happen soon. I don't know what, but I just feel like something will.

Happy moments don't last that long for us anyway, so It's only natural. What I can do for now though Is get to know Nate a little better. I bet he changed as the years went by.

I picked up my phone, dialing Nate's number. God, I am so nervous.

''Hello?'' He answered the phone, and I heard shuffling In the background.

''Hey, It's Bridget.'' I trembled, trying to make my voice sound normal. Calm down, Bridget. Your making It obvious now.

''Oh hey, whats up?'' He replied back; the shuffling stopping. Finally, I can actually hear his sexy voice now.

What is wrong with me.

''Nothing much, really. I just got bored, so I decided to call you.'' I kept shaking, waiting for him to answer.

''Your bored? Then come over, I wouldn't mind hanging out.'' He suggested, making my face turn red. Great, now I need to find a cute outfit to wear.

''Alright, see ya.'' I hanged up the phone, hopping off the bed and opening my drawer. I took out some leggings and a sweater, putting It on. I grabbed my phone off the bed, fixing my hair and walking out of the room, closing the door. I climbed up the ladders, walking off to the water kingdom.

I dropped down the ladders of the water kingdom, looking around. Where Is he? And where Is Aria?

Nate's POV

I heard someone dropped from the ladders, making me peek out of my room. I saw Bridget looking around, and I stepped out of the doorway, walking towards her.

''Hey. You look cute today.'' I complimented her, smirking. I always had a crush on her, I'm just nervous to tell her though. It's not easy for me to admit stuff.

Her face heated red, making me smirk even more. God, she looks like a tomato right now. It's so adorable.

''Thanks.'' She smiled nervously. Why Is she nervous? And why did she blush? Does she like me back? Oh god.

''Nope. What do you wanna do?'' Should I make a move now? You know what, I need to get to know her better. It's been forever and she probably changed a lot.

''I don't know. I was actually thinking we could tell eachother more about ourself, since we probably changed over the years.'' She's been thinking the same thing I've been thinking, then.

''Yeah, thats a good idea.'' I agreed, walking off to my bedroom and opening the door. She followed me, walking In.

''PLEASE DON'T FUCK EACHOTHER! PEOPLE GOTTA SLEEP, YOU KNOW!'' Aria yelled from her room. How did she even know Bridget was here?!

''WE WON'T BE LOUD, ARIA!'' Bridget yelled back. Wait what.

So she does have a crush on me.

I don't even know what to do anymore.

''JUST GET MARRIED ALREADY!'' Aria shouted, her voice echoing through the hallway. Damn, that was fucking loud.

''SOON!'' I walked off into my room, sitting on the bed. Bridget's face turned red again, making me chuckle. Are we flirting?

I seriously should make a move right now. But then again I can't.

I don't honestly think It's the time for me to admit to her anyway. I have a feeling something Is gonna happen soon that we won't really have time to worry about our love lives.

I am excited to start the plot soon. It's gonna be fucking epic.
