S2 Chapter 6 - ''The First's''

It's finally November, meaning that I'm no longer under suspension and I can start working towards my goal.

I can do this.

I stood in front of the mirror washing my face with water before patting it dry with a towel and applying my black eyeliner. Stepping out of the bathroom I threw my backpack over my shoulder heading out and towards Nate's bedroom.

Opening the door without knocking I peeked through seeing him fast asleep with his head elevated. I felt sorta relieved at the sight before closing the door and making my way towards my office. 

Dropping into the boss man's chair as I like to call it I crammed in some paperwork then delivered some of the workers paychecks. Doing just that already made me tired but I was determined to get my grades up as I walked out to school. 

I should really get my license even though I like walking around. It'll save time, the bell is almost about to ring for first period.

Beginning to sprint I rushed towards the campus and into the building. My heart was about to leap out of my chest once I took out my phone and checked the time, seeing that I only had about thirty seconds left. 

Fuck this shit, I'm not about to let time stop me! I already made up my mind, I'm going to bring up my grades and graduate this year with flying colors. 

With that in mind I ran to my first class of the day using all my stamina. I arrived just on time, the bell ringing as soon as I made one foot through the door. The teacher was distracted making it easy to slip into an empty seat in the back.

We already had an assignment to do that was on the board. I opened the book on my desk flipping to the desired page while taking out my notebook and a pencil.

Day one, here we go.

My eyes fluttered open as I turned on my right side towards my clock. I yawned peacefully until I saw that it was 8:34.

WHAT THE FUCK!

''Shit, shit, I'm late!'' I jumped out of bed quickly making it up then ran into the bathroom taking a shower. I threw on the undergarments and clothes I set out the night before on my dresser after drying my skin with my light pink fluffy towel.

''Fuck, why didn't Logan wake me up?!'' I yelled to myself as I put on my makeup and brushed my hair. Flattening down the floral dress I had on with my hands I took a fast glance of myself in the mirror then brushed my teeth. 

Once I was finished I turned off the lights in the bathroom grabbing my purse and backpack. I ran out of my bedroom going to bang on the door of Logan's office. ''Logan! Why didn't you wake me up?!''

''Wait, you're still here?!'' Logan shouted back from inside the room.

I rolled my eyes before quickly strolling out of the exit. Taking out my phone I saw that it was now 8:57.

Oh come on, it's already second period!

I felt like crying putting my phone back in my purse. Screw this, I'll just go see how Nate is doing.

I took one look in the direction of the school before turning, heading towards the way of the Water Kingdom. It was about a twenty minute walk but when I finally arrived I went through the underground tunnel and through the entry doors.
