Bridget's POV
I had already gotten out of the coffin as soon as she left using all of the strength I had. I was currently shaking Nate worriedly, hoping that he would wake up soon.
How has he not woken up yet? I've been shaking him for about a few minutes now.
''Nate.'' I whispered then sighed when he didn't react.
I hope Logan and Aria are okay. I'm glad Alizia is helping us, but I just can't trust her yet. But when she was telling me earlier how she was going to help us, she had that sincere look. I think. Whatever that means.
''Nateeeeee.'' I groaned, continuing to shake him. ''Please, wake up already.''
His eyes suddenly opened, then closed again and opened back. His green orbs glanced over at me, and I swear I forgot how to stop breathing for a second. That caught me off guard.
I stared at him before smiling. ''You're awake.''
''Mhm.'' He mumbled then groaned as he slowly sat up, rubbing his head. ''I can move now..'' Nate whispered to himself, looking at his hand.
''That's thanks to Alizia. She gave me and you back our magic DNA. And now she went after Aria and Logan since they went to Hell.'' I informed him.
''What?'' He glanced at me with his eyes widen. ''All of that happened? And why would she, out of all people, be helping us?''
''I don't know. And even though I don't exactly trust her, let's just let her help us.'' I answered.
''Why?'' He questioned, clutching the sides of the coffin and used it to slowly get out of it. ''She beat us senseless, now we're suddenly letting her help us?'' His face looked blank for a second. ''Actually, there is always two sides to every story, I'll let it slide.''
''What do you mean? Why did you suddenly change your mind?''
He smiled at me lightly then shrugged. ''I'm not the one to be talking about someone's mistakes. I've done a lot that I'm not proud of. Because of that, I wanted to change. Maybe she's the same way I was.''
I kept my gaze on him. He's done a lot that he regrets, he probably thinks he's a horrible person because of that.
''Nate, you're not a horrible person.'' I told him. His eyes reverted over to me. ''I actually think you're really amazing. You're independent, hardworking, and you are caring to what's important to you. Those are good things.''
''There are actually a lot of good things about you besides those things. You just don't see it. I wish you would though. Your worth is a lot more than you think. There are people that want you alive.''
Nate stared at me with his mouth opened a bit. He rubbed his palms together and sighed then gave me a smile. ''Thanks for saying that, Bridget. Well, what are we supposed to do now? Are we supposed to wait for Alizia to come back with Aria and Logan?''
I nodded. Now that I think about it, what did he want to tell me? He said that he wanted to tell me something earlier.
''Nate, didn't you say that you wanted to tell me something before?'' I questioned. He looked at me with a nervous expression on his face.
''Well, I don't know how this will end so there's not much purpose hiding this from you..'' He scratched the back of his neck then faced me. ''Alright.. um..'' He chuckled to himself. ''I've been so confident, but now when it comes to the actual thing I can't say it..''
''What?'' I stared at him. His blonde hair was disheveled and his hunter green eyes were magnetizing. His skin was covered with tiny but tons of scratches and he had a lot of old and drying wounds. He looked as if he had just came out of a war.
He looks hot, to say the least.
''Bridget.'' He called, bringing me out of my thoughts. I continued to stare into his green eyes, waiting for him to tell me.
''I like you and I want you to be my girlfriend.'' Nate told me with this anxious look on his face. My eyes widened.
The guy I've liked since I was a kid actually likes me back? No, this has to be a dream.
I kinda thought he did with his remarks. But it just seems surreal.
I could only smile widely and nod. ''Of course, of course. I've liked you since we were kids.''
''Not exactly the place I thought I would be confessing at..'' Nate chuckled, glancing around the room. I laughed a little.
''I wish I could celebrate this moment, but we're in this situation.'' I told him shyly. He responded with a soft laugh.
''Yeah.'' He nodded in agreement. ''But we have to worry about the others in a time like this. That's kinda why I've been holding back with my confession, because I felt like something was going to happen. But now I realized that in this situation with the unknown future, I have to get out what I want to say before I can't.''
I blushed a bit and tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear. ''I understand. And I'm glad that you did.'' I smiled.
He smirked at me a little then put his head in his hands. ''I really hope they're okay. I just want us all to go back to our normal lives.''
''What normal lives?'' I joked.
He chuckled weakly. ''You're right, but I meant the small amount of time where shit didn't happen.''
Yeah. I want that too.

Aria's POV
''Half of your powers?'' I questioned in disbelief. ''No, why the fuck would you do that?!''
''I'm going to help you, Aria Matthews. And if this is how I'm going to help you, then let me do it, please. I need to redeem myself.'' Alizia told me.
''Redeem yourself..?''
She nodded. ''So, please. Allow me to do this.''
She's right. I am weak. And there's no doubt that this will help. But I don't want her to give up fucking half of her powers just because of me.
''But, are you sure you want to do this? Do you really want to give up half of your powers because of me?'' I asked.
''It won't make a difference to me.'' She smiled. ''I'm strong enough, I won't even notice the difference. Half of my powers won't do much to me. I just want to help you.''
''But I..'' I trailed off. Alizia suddenly grabbed my wrist then pulled out her syringe, injecting herself in the arm. My eyes widened, seeing her magic DNA sparks filling up the barrel along with her blood.
''What do you mean that won't do much?! You're taking out your fucking magic DNA!'' I yelled at her, yanking my arm away.
''I won't die, it's not all of it.'' Alizia snatched back my wrist. ''Please, just let me redeem myself. I'm begging you.. and for the sake of the people he's murdered and hurt, avenge them.''
I could see the despair in her eyes. Hades has caused that much pain and suffering for thousands, probably more people.
I hesitantly nodded. Alizia injected the syringe into my arm, the magic DNA flowing through my veins and I could feel the new power making me feel stronger physically.

Hi.
Naridget sailed, everyone. After fucking 33 chapters. Also Alizia gave half of her powers to Aria in order to beat Hades.
How do you think she feels having to kill the father of the guy she likes?
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed.
