S4 Chapter 9 - ''Letting go''
🔥 NARRATOR'S POV 🔥
''A deal, huh?'' Soul snickered. ''Lay it on me, Zeus.''
''I need you to kidnap someone for me.''
''You want me to kidnap someone?'' He guffawed. ''You better be giving me something great in return.''
''Of course, that's only fair. If you do this for me I shall hand you the Light Kingdom.''
Soul glared at him. ''Do you take me for a fool? How do you plan to do that if you are no longer the owner?''
''Don't insult me like that, I would never try to trick an intelligent man like you. As for how I plan on doing that.. it won't be difficult. I already have an advantage in order to overthrow my son.. it won't take much to hand you the crown.''
The man continued to stare at the Olympian God, his eyes boring into him. Anyone with a brain knows that Zeus is a snake, but not once has he ever pulled something whenever he made a deal with Soul. He would have to have a death wish to do so. It's common sense to not mess with the Devil himself. ''Alright. I agree to your terms.. who do I have to capture?''

Soul laughed, walking back towards the throne and plopping down in his seat. He picked up his cane once more, tapping it against the marble floor. ''That's fine.. after all, I have all the time in the world.''

Razor was at the Water Kingdom again to visit the Matthews, but unlike her daughter who was excited beyond belief to be returning to her best friend, she held a rather anxious persona.
She sat down with Bridget in the dining hall as their two children ran off to play somewhere. ''So, how have you been?''
''Uh, fine.. you?''
''Great, just super tired. Bailey and Carter keep me up all the time.'' Bridget giggled. ''But it's fun watching them grow, you know? Makes me feel like I fulfilled some sort of purpose in life.''
''Yeah, I.. get what you mean.''
Bridget glanced down at Razor's shaking leg, connecting that something must be wrong. ''You alright, Razor?''
Silence.
She didn't answer. Well, more like she couldn't answer. Razor wanted to, but it was like the words refuse to leave her mouth. Instead, the lump traveled down her throat and the burning sensation of holding in her tears worsened.
After a couple of moments, she finally stopped trying to hold them in. And so each tear fell, one by one, sliding down her cheek and dissolving into the material of her shirt. Bridget went over to her and pulled her into a hug in hopes to comfort her, but it only made the brown eyed brunette cry more.
''I..'' Razor gasped for air, the tears now falling onto Bridget's shoulder. ''I was fired from my job.. they're going to kick me out of my apartment soon.. I have a child, Bridget, and we're going to be homeless. I don't know what to do. I-''
