It was after school and I had dragged Aria with me to the mall to buy things for my date with Nate later tonight. She dragged Alizia with us since she said she doesn't want to suffer alone. But I honestly think it's because we haven't seen Alizia in a while.
Sure, Aria hates going on trips to the mall or anything similar to it, but she cares about Alizia more than that. After all, we've seen her briefly after everything that happened previously. Alizia says that she's been busy trying to find a place to call home and make a living.
We offered to let her stay with one of us, but Alizia refused. She just said that she wanted to do this on her own but she appreciates the suggestion.
I can't really blame her. She probably wants to be an independent individual after working under Hades's demand. Alizia thinks that she owed him because he gave her another shot at life, but I'm glad that she doesn't have those thoughts anymore.
At least she knows what she wants to do. I'm somewhat jealous of that.
Alizia doesn't get stressed or depressed about it, either. She's neutral about everything and takes everything head on. I wonder how she does it.
Aria groaned, falling back into a black arm chair. ''When are you gonna be finished?'' She questioned in a bored tone. I simply hummed to myself and looked through the items as I listened to the soft music playing in the background.
''A girl getting ready for a date takes a lot of time Ar, you know.'' I told her as I smiled, picking out the Night Victoria's Secret perfume.
''I assume so..'' Alizia mumbled, sitting in the chair next to Aria's. I went ahead and picked out a ulta makeup set before buying them at the counter.
After the exchange of money, the other two followed me out of the shop. I smiled delightfully to myself as I turned around to talk to them. ''Should we get anything to eat at the food court before we leave?''
''I rather not. Costs money.'' Alizia responded bluntly. Aria nodded in agreement with her arms crossed over her chest.
''You two are boring.'' I commented before spinning around and heading towards the exit. The two of them followed behind me.
I can't wait to go on my date with Nate in a few hours from now. He said that we're going into the city for it. Personally, I think it would look beautiful going there at night with all the bright lights and stars illuminating the landscape.
Honestly, it feels like a dream being in a relationship with him for this long. I never even thought that we would have mutual feelings with each other. It's like I'm at the top of the world right now.
There's only one problem though.
Whenever I try to make the first move in terms of having sex and all that, Nate always backs off. I swear, this happens every single time. It really hurts my feelings; making me think that he doesn't see me as attractive or anything.
I want to ask him about it, but it's embarrassing. What would he say to me wanting to get to that stage with him?
Thinking of all the possible answers scares me.

It was now the evening and I had finished getting ready for my date. I already told Logan where I was going and headed outside to the spot we agreed to meet at. Nate informed me that he was going to pick me up from there.
I flattened my dress as I arrived at the area, seeing Nate's car already parked there. A big smile appeared on my face once I saw it.
I went up to the car window and knocked lightly on it. Nate winded the window down and gave me a grin. ''Hey.''
