Aria's POV
As Hades had finished up his sentence, I caught him off guard and punched him in the face. Speedily, I kicked him in the side then jumped over his head to kick him in the back, making him stumble into the other side of the sphere.
My eyes were a fading rainbow as flames escaped my fingertips and water was at my feet. Light had illuminated up my hair, and the ground was shaking. My darkness powers were causing a dark aura to surround me as I stared down Hades who had started laughing because of my simple attack.
I continued to watch him and listened as he laughed darkly and coldly then he dashed towards me and made the sphere exceptionally dark to the point I couldn't see. I closed my eyes, trying to sense where he would attack me but I wasn't able to and he had knocked me all around the sphere. I slid down onto the ground after the impact, but I didn't dare let out a scream or a groan.
Because then I'll be allowing him to win that way as well.
''Aria!'' Bridget screamed, pounding on the sphere but then was knocked down to the ground and she fell on her bottom. ''Ow, shit.''
The darkness had been cleared up and Hades was standing directly in front of me. In his hands was a sword of a deadly length, the tip of the sword was sharpened to a point and there was fuse of darkness coming off of the sword. His cloak was draped down on his shoulders and his mask was slightly off, revealing the tip of his mouth along with his nose and eyes. I could have already seen his eyes, but now that I've seen more of his face he really does look like Dragon.
But, I can't let my emotions get the best of me. Be a robot during the battle. If you let your emotions overtake you, he'll use that to his advantage.
You're the one that has to be taking the advantage here.
I averted my gaze over to the ground on the other side of the sphere which took Hades off guard. I took the opportunity to knock the sword out of his hands, catching it in my hands and running over to the other side.
I transported my powers to the sword, making the sword turn rainbow in color and fuse along with the darkness. I stared him down and Hades had made the sphere flood with darkness again, but my sight was still visible for me. That means Nate, Logan, and Bridget couldn't see what was going on inside anymore due to the color of the sphere no longer being clear.
Hades tossed off his mask, revealing his face fully. He took off his cloak, leaving him in this oldish battle looking outfit. There was stains of blood on it and it was slightly ripped up.
Was he always wearing that underneath?
He held out his hand and another sword identical to the one in my hands appeared in his hand. ''Heh, took the wrong one, Aria Matthews.''
I just stared blankly at him and gripped onto the sword I was holding tighter. He took a stride forward to me. ''I bet you feel stupid now, huh. Knowing that sword won't do a single thing against me. In the first place, it was never meant to be used against me, since it was made for me.'' He chuckled at me.
I didn't say a single thing. If I say anything, then my emotions would get the best of me. I'm already thinking about Dragon because him and Hades look similar. And if I think about Dragon, then I'll think about how he's Hades father, and I'm in a battle with his father, he'll hate me-
I dropped the sword, holding my head in agony as I fell to my knees and screamed. I clenched the hair in my hands tightly, closing my eyes as I continued to scream. I could hear Hades footsteps and the sharp, cold tip of his sword touch my forehead slightly. ''Breaking down already, huh? That's boring. I didn't even do anything yet.''
I lowered my head as I screamed repeatedly. My head was starting to hurt due to the fact that I was tugging my own hair. Hades fell silent and listened to my screams then pointed his sword down on the ground before quickly sliding it up, leaving a scrape on my knee. The scrape started to bleed, the red liquid dripping down to the ground. This made me twitch and swallow the lump in my throat.
''No reaction to that, huh.. you're boring, Aria Matthews. I may as well just kill you here and now, you're no longer an entertaining toy.'' Hades commented before raising his sword up but I could feel him eyeing me cautiously.
''Go ahead and kill me.'' I croaked, hot and salty tears sprouting out of my eyes. ''I don't want to be alive anymore.''
''Eh.. I was going to do so anyway.'' Hades told me then he started to send the sword straight down on me.
The light strings I had formed while I caught him off guard wrapped around him before the sword could reach me. I backed up, standing up then kicked the sword out of his hands and caught it successfully in mines.
''You should really pay more close attention to your instincts,'' I laughed, pointing the sword up at him. The sharp tip poked his chin, creating a dot of blood. ''You guessed it was an act, didn't you?''
The light strings tightened around him and I sent all of my powers straight into the sword. The sword I had stole from him earlier had turned back into what it's original appearance.
The sword I held in my hands now were fusing with all the colors of the rainbow, along with my eyes. My aura of darkness had turned off due to me sending all of my powers to the sword. I tilted my head and lowered the sword to his stomach. ''True, using your sword against you that was specifically made for you won't work,'' I looked up at him. ''But if I fuse my powers with it, then it won't be your sword anymore, huh? It'll be someone else's sword, due to the different powers within it now, and I could use it against you now with it being able to kill you.'' I laughed. ''Smart idea, right?'' Hades stared down at me, his eyes shaking relentlessly. I chuckled at this.
Without hesitating, I stabbed him in the stomach with the sword. With that one attack, I could feel my energy draining from me and I couldn't even confirm if he was dead or not before I fell back onto the ground, my eyes turning back into it's original color; turquoise. The sphere had disappeared and I could feel myself being picked up and the others shaking me.
''Aria!'' Bridget yelled, shaking me quickly. ''Come on, wake up!''
''Are you okay?!'' Nate questioned worriedly. ''What even happened?!''
''She won.'' Logan pointed out, looking around. ''But I don't see Hades's body.''
I opened my eyes, that were no longer turquoise but hazel and groaned as I rubbed my head.

The Season 1 finale!
Okay, this took forever to write. I'm taking a break from this book. I am so glad I got this done because it's pissing me off.
Please don't ask for updates on this book. Because quite frankly, this isn't the only book that I have. This won't be updated for a while. Just because someone has a book, doesn't mean it's the only one they work on. This is a hobby, not a job.
I'm sorry if these chapters do not make any sense at all, but I was writing whatever came to mind at this point. I just wanted to get this season done and over with.
The next seasons will have up to 20 chapters.
I'm glad I reached the 40 chapter mark, now fuck off with this shit.
Also, Happy New Years. To think I started this book two years ago.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed.
