AN: So you want to read about Jackie and Jessica huh? Well prepare to learn the full story and you get to see what happened if they magically found their way back to each other.

And for you people who keep talking about Nika she's next but like dang y'all are starving for some Nika content. I'll give a hint as to what her and Jessica's relationship is like, it's very very very spicy.

Also this is the longest thing I've ever written (I seem to keep saying that) but this is basically a novel and this will take so long to read so um sit back and enjoy all of these words.

2018

Jessica was laying on the couch on her older sister's apartment. She was playing with a stress ball while Avery was working on some paper for some class that Jessica didn't care about. She loved that Avery was an upperclassman who lived off campus because it gave Jessica somewhere to go when she got tired of her annoying ass roommate.

"Did I tell you that Jackie Young kissed me at the ACC Tournament?"

Jessica heard the loud slam of a laptop, and she lifted her head, looking over the back of the couch at Avery. The blonde's eyes were squinted as she turned and looked at Jessica.

"I'm sorry what did you say?" Avery asks.

"So, I laid down some serious game," Jessica says sitting up, "I was all like age is nothing but a number and that how old I was wouldn't matter if she saw me naked and it almost didn't work but then she followed me outside and kissed me."

"A Notre Dame basketball player? Kissed you?" Avery says.

"Okay why are you acting like I'm not the hottest person you know?" Jessica says.

"The hottest, barely legal person I know," Avery says as she stands from her seat, "You are literal jailbait."

Jessica's brows furrow, "I'm eighteen."

"Barely!" Avery exclaims, "Jackie Young is a 20-year-old sophomore! That's three years."

"It's definitely two years. And I'm guessing I shouldn't tell you she's turning 21 this year?"

"No!" Avery exclaims, "You shouldn't! She's the same age as me. You're not allowed to date her."

Jessica laughs, "No one said anything about dating. We kissed. We talked. There were no plans to see each other again. She's in Indiana. I'm in North Carolina. Plus, I talk way too much, and she is literally mute. We're not compatible. Good for a hook up not long-term."

Avery's jaw clenches, "You did not sleep with her."

"You're right I didn't," Jessica says, "I'm just saying that we'd be relationship incompatible."

Avery sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose, "You stress me out."

"Okay but why do you act like I'm your 12-year-old sister?" Jessica asks with a small smile, "We're in college together."

"Okay but Jessie, baby, you are technically still in high school. You're doing a dual enrollment program. You are young and impressionable and ever since you tore your ACL, you're reckless so I am just making sure that no one is taking advantage of that," Avery says.

"Jackie wasn't taking advantage of me," Jessica responds, "But I certainly wanted to take advantage of her-"

"Oh gross!" Avery exclaims, "Stop it."

Jessica laughs but she smiles as she looks at Avery. The two of them had been in this together since high school when their parents started dating after meeting abroad and finding out that they both lived in North Carolina. Two hours apart, but the same state. Paul, Avery's dad, moved to be closer to Jessica's mom and so Avery and Jessica ended up going to the same high school.
