fifty-eight.

"Okay now you're just going flip it," Jessica instructs. She takes the spatula to flip over the bread, "Just like that."

She hands the spatula over to Matt and just to be sure he has a firm grip, Jessica wraps her hand around his, gently guiding her son as he flips over the bread in the pan.

"I did it, mommy!" Matt exclaims.

"You did," Jessica says as she kisses him on top of his head, "Okay now can you go to the fridge and get the strawberries and cream cheese?"

Matt nods as he steps down from the stepping stool, runs over to the refrigerator, grabs the strawberries and cream cheese, and brings them to his mother. Jessica places the piece of French toast they were cooking on a plate with several other pieces.

"Now what are we doing?" Jessica asks.

"We're stuffing it!" Matt exclaims.

Jessica laughs and nods, "Yes we are."

She cuts the pieces of French toast diagonally as she spreads cream cheese between the pieces and then she lets Matt place the strawberries on top. They do this until there's enough for everyone and Jessica smiles as she holds a hand up to Matt.

"Thanks for helping me with breakfast," Jessica says.

Matt grins as he high-fives her, "I like doing things with you mommy."

"I like doing things with you too," Jessica says as she picks him up and kisses his cheek, causing him to giggle.

The front door opens, and Kate and Mina walk in, both sweating and wearing fitness clothes. The two had woken up early and had decided to go on a run.

"Mommy's home!" Matt exclaims and Jessica sets Matt down as he runs over to Kate. She grins at the sight of her youngest child and picks Matt up as she kisses him on the cheek. Matt giggles in Kate's arms, "You're all sweaty mommy."

"Really?" Kate says as she rubs her cheek against Matt's making him giggle.

"Now I'm sweaty!" Matt exclaims.

"Oops," Kate says as she sets Matt down.

"Food," Mina says as she walks into the kitchen, "French toast, is today a holiday or something?"

"Nope, Matt just wanted to make French toast, so I made French toast," Jessica states.

Mina shakes her head, "You're such a sucker."

Jessica gasps, "I am not! I'm just being a good mom."

"Right," Mina says with a smile. Jessica rolls her eyes as she shoves Mina in the face. Jessica walks past her and over to Kate.

"Hi pretty girl," Kate greets as she pulls Kate into her and kisses her.

"Hi prettier girl," Jessica says with a smile, "Ew you are sweaty."

"See!" Matt exclaims, "Mommy is gross."

Jessica bites her lip and fights a smile as she looks at Kate, "Yeah you heard Matty, you're gross."

Kate's jaw drops, "Jess, don't go switching up on me."

"I'm sorry," Jessica says as she tries to pry herself free of Kate's grip, but Kate tightens her hold on her wife as she holds her close to her, and wipes her cheek against Jessica's, causing her to scream out.

"Kate!" Jessica exclaims.

"Now you're gross and sweaty too," Kate says with a smile.

Jessica smiles and steals a glance at Matt, "You know who I think could be a bit more sweaty?"
