Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 19

Day was little lost after sending Itt with Gear. He wanted to keep his words to Itt to not bother him anymore.

He went to his car and sat thinking what to do next.  He recalled he needs to deal with those rogues too  but his body was weak and the pain aggravated. He looked at his wound after removing the bandage and it was infected.

He started driving to get to the main road to go to hospital first. As he was driving he started feeling dizzy. His mind was also occupied with if Itt is safe as he did not want to be cause of another misfortune for Itt. He felt he cannot leave the miscreants to  harm Itt but he himself did not have energy to handle them now. He called P'Kom and told him the whole incident about rival gang. 

"I will take care of them . You do not have to worry" P'Kom said giving Day some relief.  Day thanked him and as soon as he disconnected phone, everything ahead of him was blurred. 

He shook himself a bit and saw through rear view mirror that  there were few vehicles behind him. He knew he cannot continue  driving so he turned his car towards left side of road to avoid any collision to ensure safety of other people on road. As he moved his car towards corner , he almost gave up and was unable to apply brakes properly causing his car to crash into a tree.

Day hit his head on steering wheel and got unconscious. Vehicles near by stopped to see, one passerby called ambulance. Soon ambulance was there and Day was taken to hospital. 

"Should we go back and bring him along with us" Itt said after a long silence as they almost reached Bangkok.

"Wha . What?" Gear asked lowering the volume of music in car which he played as Itt was silent throughout and Gear can only talk that much.

"Should be go back" Itt said in low voice.

"We just reached Bangkok and it will not be safe as Day said" Gear said after giving some thought. Itt nodded.

"Itt ...did Day do something to you. " Gear said after seeing Itt brought Day's topic.

Itt was silent.

"You know you can tell me" Gear said again.

"I am not ready to talk" Itt said in low voice.

"Ok tell me whenever you want." Gear dropped the subject.

After another hour of drive  , Gear dropped Itt at his home. Gear had offered  Itt to stay with him and Night but Itt declined stating he will go back to working as has so much work pending. 

Gear said he will pick up and drop him for next few days. Itt was hesitant but Gear insisted making him to chose between staying at Gear's place or letting him escort him to work and back.  Eventually Itt agreed to latter. 

"It's Sunday tomorrow . Rest and don't go out. I will come on Monday to take you to office" Gear said and left.

Itt's mother pampered him with lots of food as he has been away for a while. 

 Gear called Day after reaching home but he did not pick the call so he messaged him that they reached and he dropped Itt at home. Gear also did not bother much as Day usually does not message, even with Night he prefers to call and talk. Later in the night, Night asked Gear about Day and he responded same as Day said that he went for some urgent work but he did not know much details. Night called Day to  check but the call went to voicemail.  Gear heard Night complaining about Day that he has not spoken to him since the party at Nicks place. Gear  recalled gunshot wound which Itt referred and immediately messaged asking if he is ok , but again no response so he thought of checking next day.

Itt was tossing and turning while laying down on the bed having trouble sleeping. He was curious if Day is safe. But also he wanted to get Day out of his mind, as he did not wanted to have any connection with him. Day's words were echoing in his mind "will not cross path"

"That's what I want" Itt muttered to himself. "Now onwards I will not think of him at all" Itt spoke again  but now in loud voice  as if reaffirming himself when his phone beeped.

He immediately picked the phone to check thinking Day has messaged but it was a message from Gear "Take your medicines" Itt's mind dwelled again on how Day took care of him and got him his medicines.

Itt shook his head and muttered "No I will not think of him anymore" and took medicines and slept as his medicines had some drowsy effect.

On Sunday, Itt relaxed at home as last few days too much happened. He called Mac and spoke to him for a while. He did not tell him any details on what happened , just that he was  with his old friends Gear and Nick. Mac was also on business trip so did not call Itt last few days. Itt kept himself busy all day by checking work on laptop as he did not want to think about Day at all.

Gear tried calling Day but no luck.

Monday morning,  Gear came to pick Itt from his house. Itt came out and saw Night sitting in passenger seat. Night got up and went to sit in back seat "P'Brick I have to get down at college, you sit infront." Itt nodded and sat next to Gear.

"Are you feeling better" Gear asked. Itt just gave short response " yeah" , he wanted to check about Day but  hesitated.

Night was dialling phone and continuously ranting "He does not care about me at all. He can't even send one message or call back... I will also not tell him where I am "

Itt looked back in confused manner and saw Night and then turned to look at Gear with frown and asked in low voice "Anything wrong?"

"He is trying to reach Day. He has not contacted at all" Gear said as he shook his head and said "Night calm down. He will call you when he can, may be he is busy" 

"Where is he busy? I called salon he is not even there" Night said in frustrated tone.

Itt looked at Gear and in soft voice asked " Did he not call since .." such that Night could not hear him. Gear shook his head gesturing no with concerned look. Now Itt had also started to worry.

Gear stopped the car in front of college gate and looked back"Night go and focus on your studies. I will try to check on Day. Do not worry"

Night got down the car.  "I don't know . He is behaving so strangely these days. He has not talked to me since that party" Night said in almost tears pouting his face as he leaned against the car window where Gear was sitting .

Gear rubbed his head "He cares about you most. I will contact him. Now don't think too much. Go and study" 

Night said bye to Gear and Itt and went to college.

Itt heard the conversation and immediately spoke as Night left "Do you think he might in danger because of those guys" 

"Which guys?" Gear asked as he still did not know the whole situation.

"When he took me with him, some guys with weapons chased us. They were like Mafias" Itt said 

Gear knew that Day had worked with Mafia as Night told him few stories and muttered "I guess that's what he was referring enemies."

"Huh! What?" Itt asked as he did not hear him clearly.

"Nothing I will drop you at office and try to find him" Gear said. Itt wanted to help but did not say much as his emotions are still conflicting.
