Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 18

Day was driving Itt back to Bangkok.  Itt looked at Day through corner of his eye, Day was looking pale and was sweating a lot. Itt wanted to ask if he is ok but hesitated.

A car overtook them when Day had to apply sudden brake making Itt sway in the direction of Day. Day's arm brushed Itt's hand making Itt feel the heat and realise Day was burning.

Itt looked at Day "You.. you have fever?"

Day turned his head a little and could see concern in Itt's eyes. He shook his head "That's nothing " and looked ahead trying to curb his pain not to reflect on his face.

However Day was feeling he cannot hold much as his wound has infected but his priority was to drop Itt safely in Bangkok.  Bangkok was still 2 hrs away.

Itt looked at Day's arm and said in low voice "You should go to hospital"

Day heard but ignored. He was also worried of being chased again on the way. He had an inkling that his rival gang might be still looking for him in Bangkok and now they have seen Itt as well so he might be in danger too. His mind was occupied with thinking of some plan to keep Itt out of the danger. While driving he noticed a bike had been following them for some time making his apprehensions come true.  He felt his car is the reason they are able to track him easily as they can identify his car.

Day took out his phone with one hand and while alternatively moving his eyes from phone screen to driving path , he called Neil who did not pick the call. Then he called Gear who shouted  immediately " Where are you . How is Itt?"

Gear shouted so loud that Itt could hear his voice easily.

Itt looked at Day trying to ascertain why he called Gear.

Day put the call on car Bluetooth making Itt hear whole conversation while keeping a check on the biker following them.

"Listen .. I need you to come to location outside Bangkok now. It's urgent." Day said.

"Where is Itt? How is he?" Gear shouted again.

"Itt is with me and we are being followed. I want you to take Itt to Bangkok. I will try to dodge till you arrive but I cannot cross Bangkok." Day tried to explain Gear.

Itt's eyes widened while looking at Day and listening to the conversation ; and he turned back to check  but did not see anything alarming  as there were  one bike and two cars behind them.

"But ... who is following.." Gear's tone changed to concern. Itt was also curious since they were attacked, he wanted to ask on who were trying to harm them but he hesitated to ask Day.

"Start now. Make it quick. No more questions now. I will send you location"  Day said and disconnected. 

"Who is following " Itt asked softly.

"That bike"  Day gave a short response. Day knew as they get near Bangkok , they will be attacked as the biker might have alerted the gang.

As the biker was parallel to them, Day took a U turn making the biker stop and look back as he surpassed the U Turn and now he could take the next U Turn only after 2 miles. Itt was also observing biker since Day told and registered what Day was saying was correct as they are being followed.

Day drove too fast making Itt  hold the grab handle to maintain his balance. Once Day was out of sight of the biker he changed the route to go through small town and forest instead of main flyover. The path was bumpy making Itt tightening his grip around the handle and Day was struggling as jerks were making him uncomfortable  due to his wound. 

Day was feeling shivers too and he was trying to keep a composed expression but his hands were little shaky. After driving for a while and ensuring  no one can follow them, Day saw a small eatery , he stopped the car to peek inside the place which was covered with trees and few locals sitting inside and eating.
