Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 34

 Day turned to look at Itt. 

Itt's face was pale and legs weak. He bent to sit on bench to avoid falling as he again called "Day" with tears in his eyes as he put his hand on his stomach. Day was very angry but had to control his anger seeing Itt.

Day kneeled down and kept one hand on Itt's shoulder and  softly asked "Can you get up?" Itt nodded and tried to stand as Day supported him. Itt leaned on Day as Day put Itt's arm around his shoulder and held him by his waist. Day supported Itt to walk and took him to Nan's office and made him sit.

Itt suddenly tried to get up recalling "Mac .. how is he?"

Day was confused "What Mac was with you?"

Itt nodded "His car .. he was racing .. it crashed." Day understood the situation.

 "Itt sit down you are hurt too" Day said in heavy tone. Itt saw Day's stern expression and was about to say "... But Mac."

"Sit I am checking on Mac" Day said and started checking cc tv recording. He could not find Nan and Mac. He called Nan and did not waste time and directly asked "How is Mac?"

"I am taking him to hospital. It seems his hand is hurt. Hia .. can you...." Nan told as Day interrupted "Don't worry about here I will leave only once track is closed."

"Hia thanks.. tell Itt.. he is..."Nan was about to say when Day added "He is with me" watching Itt's expression and disconnected.

Mac was groaning in pain as Nan was driving him to hospital "We are about to reach " Nan said as he looked at Mac worriedly.

Day saw Itt holding his stomach while twisting his face.

"Are you hurt?" Day asked and Itt shook his head and asked "Mac ?" while frowning.

"Nan is taking him to hospital." Day responded and asked again "Are you hurt?" who promptly said No.

"Itt stop lying to me" Day said in fierce voice when Itt was quick to say "Little .."

"Lift your shirt" Day said when It stared at Day.

"Show me where it hurts" Day asked looking at Itt's confused expression.

Itt lifted his shirt a little when Day touch the skin which was little red and Itt moaned in pain. Day looked at Itt and got up to bring first aid box.

He took one ointment and came and lifted Itt's shirt and started applying in the area which was red. Itt held Day's arm and squeezed it as he was feeling pain and lowered his head trying not to scream. It was near ribs so was hurting more. Day observed Itt's expression so after applying ointment he gave a painkiller to Itt.

Day asked Itt to rest for a while as he went to see the track if any issues.

He came back and saw Itt sleeping on couch. He let him sleep as he checked the dues keeping his eye on video feeds. There were moments when Itt got scared in sleep. Day observed him but did not go near him. He was kind of angry on Itt for always carelessly putting him in such situations where he gets hurt. The boys came to report to Day and it was time to close the track.

Day called Itt's name to wake him up. He called few times when Itt opened his eyes and squinted little because of the light. He saw Day standing near him which made him sit in hurry hurting his wound.

"Ahhh .." Itt groaned as he touched the stomach.

Day just said "The track is about to close. Get up. Let's go." and moved out of room leaving Itt like that.

It got up with little difficulty but keep looking at Day who was standing outside with his back towards Itt and smoking.

Itt felt hurt thinking Day who has been indulging him so much , suddenly started being indifferent. He realised he only told Day last time that they should not meet but Itt was not liking this feeling of being ignored by Day.

As Day asked Nan's boys to close track, he moved out towards car and Itt followed. Itt was not sure what to do. He did not want to bother Day to drop him but also he was scared to take cab. Suddenly Day stopped and Itt who was walking engrossed in his thoughts bumped into him.

Day turned to see Itt and Itt was quick to say "Sorry...." and added pointing to a cafe nearby "I will wait there and will call someone to pick me up "

"You are staying with me today " Day said in a fierce tone with a death stare.

Itt looked at Day and did not resist. Day opened the car door of passenger seat for Itt and he sat. He could not figure out what Day was thinking but he did not counter even once.

There was awkward silence throughout the way when Itt broke the silence "Is Mac ok?"

Day responded "Nan messaged he is fine but had to stay in hospital for the night" Itt nodded and looked out of car window. The AC in the car was at vey low temperature making Itt rub his arms due to cold.

Day observed and increased the temperature and asked "Are you hungry?"

Itt said no promptly when Day turned to look at him with fierce expression. Itt was quick to change his response " A little.."

Day drove and stopped at a restaurant "Let's eat here. "

Itt saw the restaurant was bit crowded and in feeble voice asked "Can we go somewhere else?" He was again getting scared of crowd after the incident at racetrack.

"All the placed will be closed by now. It's late" Day said as he thought. Itt was hesitating to tell him the reason and agreed to go out "Ok we can have here".

Day parked the car and stepped out towards restaurant. Itt followed him very closely. There were few people who were coming out of restaurant in group and Itt suddenly leaned towards Day and unconsciously held his arm tight. Day was startled and looked at Itt and noticed his scared expressions as he looked towards the group coming out. Day held Itt's hand and moved him to other side. Day realised now why Itt did not want to come to the restaurant.

He lead Itt towards a corner table while holding his hand and made him sit on the side which was facing the wall so that Itt does not look at the crowd.

"What do you want to eat ?" Day asked in causal tone and handed him menu. Itt felt relaxed and his attention was diverted to food.

Itt saw the menu and kept flipping trying to make decision as Day watched him. After sometime when waiter came to take order Itt still had not decided so Day ordered two Jok Moo. Itt looked at Day with confused face and Day asked " Anything else?"

"Yes I want stir fried pork belly and beer" Itt said in firm tone.

Day looked at waiter and told "And stir fried pork belly and two water" and waiter left.

Itt was quick to pout and said "But I want beer"

Day stared at him again and Itt feebly repeated "But Beer.."

"You just took pain killer and now you want to drink beer" Day said in stern tone making Itt look down with sad expression.

They had food and as they were leaving the exit was still crowded so Day pulled Itt towards him and guarded him out towards the car. And as anyone came little closer to him, Itt himself moved towards Day . 

Itt strangely had started feeling safe with Day.
