Chapter 11 - Trust

"Friend!" Day repeated. He was feeling more guilty thinking in case Itt gets to know who he is and how will he react.

Day saw Itt sleeping so he left immediately to his room leaving the light on. He really wanted to be close to Itt but was scared too.

Next morning , Day and Itt checked out the hotel at the same time . Day was already waiting in reception for Itt but did not pretend so.

"Hello P'Neil ... Are you also checking out today" Itt questioned.

"Yes my work is done" Day responded.

"P'Neil.. Ah. ...Last night.." Itt hesitated but then asked "Last night did you bring me back to hotel? I guess I was drunk I can't recall much but I guess you..." 

Day nodded "Yes as I  saw you there in pub and saw you were in no position to drive so.."

"Thank you" Itt said with a smile.

Day asked Itt if his checkout process is done, he can give a ride to his car which was still parked in the pub.

"Oh right I totally forgot. That will be great if you can" Itt responded. 

They travelled back to Bangkok. Itt was becoming comfortable with Day and asked his phone number. Day exchanged numbers and since then they started talking to each over messages.

Initially Itt sent message regarding thanking him for trip and tried to talk more regarding his work. Then the messages became more casual from asking when they leaving work and what they had in lunch. 

Day started going back to salon as he felt at ease knowing about Itt through messages. Itt started considering him friend and was happy to have one more friend he can talk to other than Mac. 

Mac prefer socialising than messaging on phone so his way was to drag Itt outside office to some restaurant or pub.However Itt as this point needed someone who did not know his existing family and friends and not judge him for his past.

Itt started finding talking to Day comforting. He started becoming his old self at least over messages where he can talk freely. Day started loving Itt's personality. He found him more and more intriguing and it was out of his nature but he also started taking a lot with Itt.

It's been weeks and their camaraderie kept growing. 

Itt returned home late night and after having dinner and taking shower , he sat on bed leaning on headboard. He switched on the television to relax and picked his phone as he recalled something and messaged  "P'Neil you know today I met one client who was a jerk. He asked me if I date guys in business meeting." 

Day was having dinner with Gear and Night when he saw the message. "I will have dinner in my room as I recall I have some work" He told looking at Night and picked his plate and went to the room and locked the door.

"P'Day is behaving strange these days but he is looking happy" Night said smiling

"May be he is dating someone" Gear responded with a smirk as they both continued to have dinner.

"Damn! let me know his details ,I will deal with him" Day messaged back as he was feeling anger.

"Lol I have already dealt. I just cancelled the contract. The quality of his products were also bad so I anyways wanted to stop dealing with him" Itt responded while smiling and with a smiley.

"By the way do you remember the client you met in Chonburi" Day asked as he had few more spoons of rice and put the plate aside.

"Yes Pete.. He is coming back next week" Itt messaged.

"Don't meet him alone" Day messaged while frowning.

"Why? .." Itt messaged making confused face.

"Don't you know he flirts with you and makes you drunk every time you meet him."  Day said as he really wanted Itt to be alert with him.

"What? How do you know?" Itt asked

Day realised he has spilled more than he should and tried to cover " I saw when we were in chonburi pub as I was sitting few seats away from you."

"Ah .. ok but I really find him nice. Moreover I liked his factory so I have to have couple of more meetings with him" Itt said as he felt and just ignored the every time comment by Day as typo.

"Can you stop being so nice and trust people so easily" Day responded in anger as he was worried about Itt.

Itt paused for a while and messaged 

                 "P'Neil you know it's years now ,since I had stopped talking or trusting people."

                  "Instead you already know I am scared of strangers. I can talk work but other than that only new friend I made in years is you and  I trust  you."

Day was speechless hearing the word "Trust" for him. He realised he shouldn't have said that as he is the reason he stopped trusting people. He was feeling guilty but was also curious on why he stopped talking to Gear and Nick. He listens both of them complaining from time to time that Itt have stopped talking to them.  

"What about your other friends?" Day asked

" I have one more friend Mac who is always there  for me  but others... it's long story I will tell you some other time." Itt messaged to avoid the topic for now but in his heart he felt may be sometime he will talk to Day.

"P'Neil let' sleep. It's too late . We both have to go to work tomorrow early" Itt said as he yawned and have  started feeling sleepy

"Ok good night. Have a nice sleep. Don't forget to take your medicines. "  Day messaged back as Itt has told him about his therapy.

Itt was feeling relieved thinking he has someone now with whom he can share what is troubling him which is still unspoken. On the other hand Day was feeling uneasy as it will be a nightmare coming true for him when Itt talks to him about that incident.
