Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 32

Day called Itt to come down to his car when he reached infront of his office. Itt was happy to meet Day but was thinking what he wanted to discuss.

"What's so urgent" Itt asked as he sat in Day's car.

"I told you  I was working and you didn't even listen to me" Itt added in annoyed tone.

"What was Mac doing here?" Day asked in stern tone without looking at Itt.

"We were discussing business." Itt responded promptly.

"What business?" Day asked.

"I am working with him for one client to deliver auto spare parts.......But wait a minute what's your problem with that." Itt was now getting annoyed and opened car door to get out.

Day immediately held his wrist strongly and moved to put seat belt on Itt and then started driving keeping his hold on Itt by one hand. Itt kept yelling "What are you doing... Where are we going .." but Day didn't respond.

They reached at Day's house and pulled Itt inside his condo who kept resisting.  He slammed the door closed. Day pushed Itt against the wall and pressed his lips against Itt's lips and started kissing him roughly. He put his hand under Itt's shirt and started touching his body. Day's mind was fully occupied with Itt being close to Mac and was taking out his anger on him.

Itt suddenly felt suffocated and was trying to push Day but he did not have much strength, he was trying to speak but Day was continuously kissing him. Day kept kissing him without observing Itt's reaction. Itt was losing his strength and a tear dropped from Itt's eyes and fell on Day's face making Day come to senses.

Day suddenly separated from Itt and saw his eyes were half closed and he was struggling to breathe. Day called Itt's name few times and even tapped his cheek. Itt was feeling dizzy , all the images were getting blurred. Itt mumbled "Light.." Day realised it was all dark and he did not switched on any lights as they entered, it was just the light from streets which was coming inside. Day switched on all the lights and picked Itt and placed him on his bed. He immediately brought water and made Itt take a sip. Itt was breathing heavily. Day was scared now but understood Itt was having an anxiety attack. Day had once bought medicines for Itt and recalled it was in his car. He rushed to his car and came up running via stairs as lift was taking time. He made Itt gulp the pills with water. He sat next to Itt and held his hand and rubbed it as they were took cold. He kept repeating words "Itt you are fine. You are safe. I am sorry..."  

After a while Itt had started to calm down as his breathing became normal and he tried to sit leaning on headboard. Day assisted him to sit and asked "Are you ok?"

Itt nodded. Day repeated "I am sorry.." as he looked down.

"I got jealous of Mac and was impulsive to react..." Day added in guilty tone.

Itt heard him but was quiet.  There was awkward silent for a while. Day looked at Itt who was lost in thoughts.

Day tried to change the atmosphere "What do you want to eat?"

Itt did not respond . Day had to shook Itt's hand to take him out of his thoughts.

Itt saw Day and said "I .. I think .. I was confused about my feelings for you . I know you care for me . I think I have also started liking you but...."

Day was listening to him carefully and felt happy that Itt had started to feel comfortable with him but was scared of Itt's  next words. He  realised he made big mistake of treating Itt like that. Itt has still not  recovered completely though last few weeks Itt even did not take medicine and was fine.

".... But right now ... and with no lights .. in dark...and when you pushed me.. I was terrified. .. it reminded me of the time you.... and the time when the taxi driver..."  Itt stuttered.

"Taxi driver?..." Day asked in low voice

Itt gulped  "I can't... I thought I have forgotten but I didn't ..."

Then Itt said firmly " We should stay away. We can't be together"

Day felt broken after hearing Itt. He wanted to counter but did not want to scare him. The thought of not being with Itt was making him feel helpless. Since that incident , his mind is being occupied with only Itt and now since last few months he has become obsessed with his life only rotating around Itt.

Day 's hand which was on Itt's hand , the grip became stronger and he just looked at him and Itt was also looking back at him.

"I think I should leave" Itt said after a long silence.

Day was struggling as he wanted to stop this but words which came out of his mouth "Ok I will drop you"

Itt tried to say " No.. I can..."

"I will drop you" Day said in firm tone .

Day reached infront of Itt's house. No one spoke throughout the way . There was pin drop silence in the car. Day turned to see Itt and saw him sleeping. Itt had drifted to sleep due to effect of medicine.

Day parked the car in the corner little far from the house. His mind was blank and kept staring Itt. He saw Itt curling up due to ac temperature in the car. Day increased temperature and then took his jacket from back seat and covered Itt. He reclined Itt's seat further so that he can comfortably sleep. It was almost midnight and hardly anyone on the road.

Day kept watching Itt leaning on his seat and was not sure what he can do to make Itt stay with him.

Itt woke up and saw Day's face infront of him who was asleep. He moved a little and found the jacket on him and they were in car. It was still dark outside. Itt took out mobile and checked it was 4 in morning. He recalled yesterday event and realised Day might be waiting for him to wake up. He thought for a while and felt he is making right decision. He wanted to slip away to avoid talking and facing Day so he slowly opened the car door but Day got up startled with the noise and called "Itt". 

Itt looked back and said " I will leave.."

He then stepped out of car. Day was also quick to get out of car . They were standing facing each other but both hesitated to say anything or rather they were not able to figure out words .

Itt then broke silence "Thanks for waiting for me..... " then in low voice added  "to woke up...I.. I...Good bye.." and started walking towards his house.

Day called "Itt can I hug you..."

Itt turned and Day went and hug him strongly without listening to Itt's response. They stayed in the position embracing each other for couple of minutes. Itt felt strange warmth and then quickly separated from Day and in confused voice said "Ah..  Bye"

Day did not stop him but his eyes were moist which Itt noticed and rushed inside.

"Bye!" Day said in low voice.
