Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 21

Itt was little surprised to see Neil and Nan but raised hand to greet them and they both responded with smile. Gear and Itt sat in the  backseat. "Nan you can drop at my home. Itt is staying with me" Gear said in affirmative voice.

Gear was not sure if Itt was just overthinking or someone really went to his office. He felt he need to be cautious "Itt you are not going to office tomorrow. Work from home"

"But..." Itt was about to say.

"Day is also missing. I can't put you in danger. What if the shadows you saw , someone really came to harm you" Gear just blurted out.

"Day is missing?" Itt asked curiously.

"What shadows?" Nan asked at same time.

"Itt saw someone in office." Gear responded to Nan but did not answer Itt.

"This is getting serious. Itt.... as Gear said, stay at home for couple of days till we sort this out" Neil said in very composed tone making Itt nod.

They reached Gear's home and Nan told  "Let's go with the plan and we can connect as anyone get any clues"

"Gear don't tell Night yet. His exams are also coming he will get disturbed" Neil said as Gear and Itt got down. Nan and Neil left.

Gear was opening gate when Itt again asked "What happened to Day?"

"He is missing , we found he met with an accident but he left hospital today morning so don't know" Gear told what he was aware. Itt did not know how to react but he did not feel good listening to it.

Gear went inside the house while Itt just stood at gate lost in his thoughts. Gear looked back to see Itt has not moved "What are you hesitating now? You used to spend maximum time at my house. Did you forget?" Gear said to change the mood when Gus came down.

"Woooah P'Itt after such a long time" He enthusiastically held Itt's hand and pulled him inside making Itt relax a bit. Gear smiled looking Gus and Itt.

"Where is Night?" Gear asked.

"He is in your room and crying since he came back from college. P'Day has not called yet and not picking call" Gus responded.

"OK I will go and check on Night. " Gear  told and added with smirk "Gus just stay with Itt he is hesitant to come here these days" 

Gear saw Night was on phone looking outside window and he suspected he is trying to call Day. Gear went hand hugged Night from back. 

"Day would be fine. I was able to find that his phone was working  somewhere near Kanchnaburi. May be he was going there when his phone broke" Gear tried to comfort as he heard Night sniffling.

"But I spoke to Beam and P'Bella , they told P'Day did not reach there" Night said as he turned to face Gear.

Gear saw Night's puffy eyes and red face and told while wiping tears from his face " But I told you I met him two days back and he said he has some urgent work. He might be stuck with something."

"Don't worry . Now let's go and have dinner. Itt will also stay here for couple of days" Gear added.

"Ok I will wash my face and come down" Night said and Gear left to see Itt.

As he was descending from stairs he saw Gus showing Itt all his video games and Itt was checking same in same old enthusiastic manner." Gear felt good to see glimpse of old Itt as he still wondered many times what made Itt change so much.

All four of them had dinner when Gear asked Gus and Night if they have a class tomorrow which both of them refused. Gear told he had to run some errand tomorrow and they should stay inside house. He also instructed Gus "Don't let Itt go out of the house" when Itt frowned.

"Why is he running after girls again" Gus asked as he laughed.

"I hope that was the case" Gear mumbled and smiled looking at Itt while Itt pouted.

They all went to sleep. Night was sleepy as he cried a lot and slept immediately as his head hit the pillow. Gear was also tired as it was a hectic day for him and he has lot to do tomorrow.

Itt stayed in the guest room as Gear gave him change of clothes. Itt took shower and laid down and unconsciously he started thinking about Day..."Is he ok.....He was in hospital... was he  injured severely ...." Itt then shook his head to stop thinking about Day. He picked his phone to divert his mind and saw 6 missed calls from Gear which he figured out Gear might have called when he came to pick him up. Then he saw 2 missed calls from unknown number which he tried to recall that he received when he was in meeting. He thought it might be from some client and will call back in morning. Then he played  games for some time  and drifted to sleep.
