Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 29

Bang!

A sudden loud explosive sound reverberated throughout the car.

 Itt woke up in panic "Ahhh....What happened?"

Day was quick to respond "It's nothing .. It's just tyre burst. Everything is fine. " However he saw Itt was trembling and realised Itt has gone through range of terrible experiences recently from gunshots, kidnapping , escape from mob..

Day moved the car to the corner and held Itt's hand "Itt calm down ...all is fine..It was just a tyre burst.."

Itt looked at Day still scared and confused as he just woke up with the loud sound. Day handed bottle of water for Itt to drink but his hands were shaking. Day covered Itt's  hand with his hand creating a grip on bottle and made him drink water. Itt's heartbeat was still too fast. Day just sat holding his hand without saying anything.

After a while when he saw Itt had calmed down a bit, Day asked "Do you know how to change tyre?"

Itt saw him in confused manner and said "What....yes but I have not done since long.."

"Come out and help me!" Day said in commanding tone.

Day made Itt do most of the work and  just directed and assisted him. After they were done with switching tyre, Itt sat in car leaning back as he was tired and mumbled "What .. he made me do all work" while looking out of the window making Day smirk. 

They reached in next 10 minutes. Whey Day stopped the car, Itt noticed a salon board "Why are we here?"

"I live here" Day responded shortly.

Itt recalled that when Day was talking to him as Neil over phone , he told that he was hair dresser and have salons but recent mob encounters made Itt think Day must be into some rough profession.

Suddenly Itt asked in irritated tone "If you were so near, why you made me change the tyre then. " Day did not answer him instead told "Let's go inside"

Day handed Itt his luggage and picked his and went inside when he saw few customers inside. Beam came and greeted Day and Bella followed. As Itt walked behind , everyone looked at him and started laughing. Itt felt embarrassed not knowing why everyone was laughing. He stepped back to go out when Day held his hand and stared at his staff who stopped laughing but they were still smiling as if holding their laugh.

Day took Itt upstairs in his room and passed him tissues "Clean your face" as his whole face was smudged with grease. Itt checked himself in mirror and noticed all black stains on his face and looked at Day in annoyed manner and yelled  "Why didn't you tell me before"

"Go take shower. I will go down and talk to my staff" Day responded.

Day's nonchalant behaviour vexed Itt. He had started to think why he came with Day but went to take shower as he saw his clothes were dirty as well.

As he came out from after taking bath dressed in sweat pant and t-shirt while rubbing his hair with towel, he saw Day sitting at table with food infront of him.

"Let's eat. You must be hungry" Day said in calm tone.

"No I am not hungry." Itt yelled back in annoyed tone though Itt was famished. He went and sat on the bed pouting like a kid to show his anger. 

"Itt .. " Day was about to say but Itt laid down and pulled the blanket over his face to cover.

Day shook his head at Itt's childish behaviour and said " You can have when you are hungry. I will be down working. Call me if you need anything." Day was feeling content that Itt have started expressing himself without hesitation infront of him. Slowly it was breaking down the barriers in their relationship.
