Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 17

Itt's head hit the car window slightly making him startled. He got up dazed  and looked at the window and then at Day and then tilted his head against window and slept again. Day looked at Itt and smiled a little as he saw him sleeping. 

Day 's driving speed had reduced as he was also too exhausted and was in pain because of gun wound. 

It was post midnight when they reached Kanchanaburi. Initially Day was planning to stop midway to eat something but seeing Itt asleep and calculating that he is just an hour and half away from home he decided to stop at his house itself as it would be safe. Moreover if he was being chased he did not have any energy to fight so he continued driving and took 2 hours to finally reach his house.

"Itt .... Itt wake up"  Day spoke softly but Itt did not wake up.

"Itt.. we reached" Day said again little loud but still Itt did not move. Day put his hand on Itt's shoulder making Itt wake up and he shrugged his hand with jerk as he was startled with the touch.

"Itt.. we have reached." Day spoke softly and Itt nodded seeing Day.

Day got down and saw Itt was still sitting dumbfounded. He moved to his side and opened the car door for him. Itt looked at him and was not sure what should he do.

It was all dark and he was able to see a lighted board of a salon and was confused why Day brought him there.

Day was trying to read his expressions and then said "My house is above this salon" 

Itt nodded and made an expression as if he was trying to think something and after a pause spoke "I will stay in a hotel"

Day looked through Itt's eyes and realised he was scared and did not push him. He closed the car door and sat back in car and started driving. Itt was expecting Day will not agree but his immediate agreement made Itt confused.

Day drove to a hotel as Itt kept looking at Day from corner of his eyes while keeping his head straight. Day was driving without any expressions. Itt saw Day's arm , the cloth tied was smudged in blood. As he was trying to think if he should tell Day to go to hospital first, Day stopped the car infront of the hotel.

Day got down and Itt also opened his car door to get down. Itt realised he was still in hospital clothes. 

Day moved towards the hotel but Itt stopped. Day looked back and saw Itt still standing next to car looking at Day as if trying to say something.

Day turned back towards Itt.

"Ahh.. I am wearing this ..."Itt spoke.

Day opened the back door of the car and picked his hoodie and handed over to Itt "Wear this for now." Day opened the car trunk  and there was a dirty denim shirt at the back which he took out and wore himself to hid his wound. Both of them headed inside the hotel.

 Day asked two rooms to the receptionist. Itt looked at Day in confusion as he was expecting Day to go back his home but he did not ask. Day asked about room service but he was notified it's closed as it's almost 2 am.

The receptionist did paperwork and handed two keys.  Day handed one key to Itt and told him  "Go ahead . I will just get something to eat. Do not open the door for anyone else"

Itt entered his room and immediately hit the bed as he was so tired. It was a tough day.

After sometime there was a knock at his door. Itt  who had dozed off got scared and then recalled Day told he will get food. He went near the door and asked "Who.. Who is there?"

"It's me Day .." Itt opened the door. Day handed him three bags  at door itself and told "Eat and take your medicines. Also apply bandaid on your forehead before sleeping"
