Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 25

At hotel's reception Day told " 2 rooms."

"Can we stay in same room" Itt said hesitatingly as Day looked at him in surprise.

"I am scared" Itt murmured softly while looking in opposite direction. Day was unable to listen clearly, but he kind of heard the word "scared". Day did not want to make Itt uncomfortable by asking again so he turned to the receptionist "one room." 

When they reached room Itt threw himself on the bed. He was exhausted both physically and mentally. 

Day  leaned on door and sighed "Thank you!"

"Wha.. What" Itt asked as he did not hear.

"Thank you that you are safe else I would not be..." Day said  softly but did not complete the sentence. Instead changed the topic "What do you want to eat?"

Itt was confused on how abruptly Day changed the topic but his mind was quick to get distracted with food as he was too hungry "Umm.."He picked the menu kept on the bedside table. He stared at it for a while as Day observed him. And after looking it for a while he said "Anything that can be served soon" and threw the menu to the side and stretched his arms to relax. 

Day's steady gaze turned into a throaty laugh making Itt look at Day awkwardly "Wha.. What..?"

"Nothing" Day tried to hide his smile by changing his expression to neutral. He was finding Itt's gestures very amusing.

Day called room service and ordered everything available as per Itt's liking based on his knowledge. Itt was surprised to hear the names of his favourite dishes but did not react. 

"Do you want to take shower now or after having food" Day asked Itt.

"Later " Itt responded promptly as he was feeling lazy.

Day messaged Neil , Nan and Gear that Itt is with him and they are safe. Then handed his phone to Itt and asked him to call his parents and Mac.

Itt looked at him in confusion when Day reiterated  in assertive tone " Call. They must be worried." Itt held the phone and kept staring at cellphone as he was not sure what to tell them and what they are aware of. 

Day looked at him but figured out and told "Your parents are not aware , they just know you are with Gear while Mac knows you were kidnapped"

"Ah.. ok" Itt felt relieved and called his Mom. Day left the room gesturing Itt that he is going downstairs as he wanted to give Itt privacy so that he can talk comfortably. "Why.?" Itt exclaimed with wide eyes but Day had already left before listening to Itt. 

Itt spoke to Mac who was bombarding questions but Itt was able to pacify him by telling he is safe now.  Mac did not question more as Itt told he is exhausted. Itt tried to make the call shorter deliberately as his mind was occupied with where Day went.

After a while door opened. Itt was just watching the door and as he saw Day, he felt relieved. He saw Day returned with first aid box so did not ask anything further.

In no time there was a knock on the door and room service brought the food. They both sat and had dinner. Day kept serving Itt and both were too hungry so were able to finish all.

Itt was about to lay down immediately when Day spoke in commanding tone "Don't lay down yet. Sit for a while else you will get acid reflux"

Itt pouted and sat on bed. Day went and sat close to Itt making him little flustered. Day examined Itt's body  to check his wounds. He held his chin and saw one side of lips had deep cut like he was punched hard and there were bruises on his cheek bone. Day gritted his teeth in anger and asked "Is it hurting?" Itt shook his head as he tried to come out of Day's grip.  Day then checked his ankle and saw it was swollen. Then he checked his arms which had scratches from the broken glass of the window.

"Are you hurt anywhere else?" Day asked. Itt was quick to respond No as he was strangely feeling shy with Day being so close and the way he was touching his body with so much care.

Day started cleaning Itt's wounds but Itt resisted "I will do myself"

"Sit. Don't move" Day commanded and Itt agreed looking down without a word. Day cleaned his wounds as Itt's eyes fell on Day's  arm which had big cut. Itt spoke in high pitch tone "You got shot too " as he recalled Day screamed when they were on bike. Day was wearing black sweatshirt so blood marks were inconspicuous.  "I will take care of that" Day said calmly.

"Let me..."Itt was about to say but Day interrupted asking if he wants to take shower before he bandage. 

"Hmm .. But I have no clothes" Itt said thinking.

Day asked him to use bathrobe for now which Itt agreed and also he did not have any other choice. He went to take shower. Meanwhile, Day called Night who he knew must be too stressed and worried . He spoke to him for a while and told him they will return tomorrow.

Itt came out wearing bathrobe and was feeling awkward. He limped to the bed and sat fidgeting his hands. Suddenly he started feeling nervous. Till now previous events and adrenalin rush kept him away from other thoughts but now he started thinking if he did right to take same room with Day. He tried to block his thoughts but his nervous movements were clearly visible to Day making him understand Itt's state of mind.

Day did not make him uncomfortable and picked the first aid box and went to take shower. Day  got new wounds and his previous wound had not healed yet. The shot luckily was just a minor graze. He cleaned his wound and bandaged them.

As he came out he saw Itt was already asleep while sitting with neck slumped on one side. Day shook his head and went close to him. Itt did not wake up as Day moved him to lay in comfortable position on the bed.

Day then applied ointment and bandaged Itt wounds softly trying not to disturb his sleep. Itt did not move at all. He was in deep sleep and Day was aware he had a tough time since being kidnapped.   

Day laid next to him watching Itt , thinking how important Itt has become in his life. In no time he fell asleep too.

Itt got scared and kicked Day in sleep. Day squinted and instinctively stretched his hand to rub Itt's head as he saw him squirming as if seeing a bad dream. Itt unconsciously held Day's arm tightly and Day pulled him in embrace without giving any thought. Itt also snuggled in Day's chest and slept comfortably.

In morning Itt tried to turn but felt being caged in arms. He opened his eyes and saw Day's face who was still asleep. They both were only in the bathrobes. Itt's robe was almost open with upper body almost bare as he was cuddling with Day. He was befuddled and was just gawking at Day's face when he saw Day opening his eyes. His spontaneous reaction seeing his eyes open was to kick him hard , making Day fall from bed.

"Ahhhh Ittttt" Day yelled
