Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 42

After few minutes Itt muttered " Will you not ask me what happened ?" as he was still covering his face with his hands.

Day picked a bottle of water and poured in glass which was kept at the bedside table. He sat next to Itt and removed his hand from his face "Sit and drink this first." as he handed him the glass of water. Itt sat and drank without saying anything.

"What do you want to eat?" Day asked next making Itt frown.

"You really do not want to know?" Itt asked in low voice.

"Let's have lunch and then talk" Day responded while picking the menu and handing it to Itt.

Itt looked confused but started checking the menu. Day smiled as he saw Itt scrolling the menu  as he succeeded little in distracting Itt.

"Ummm.. I will have Spaghetti Carbonara and ...." Itt flipped the pages and then added ".. that's it" 

Day picked the phone and ordered room service. He ordered two plates of Seafood Carbonara and two soft drinks when  Itt  was quick to add a papaya salad.

As they were waiting for food, Day sat on bed leaning against headboard and pulled Itt to sit between his legs.  He embraced Itt's waist and put his chin on Itt's shoulder when Itt groaned making Day realise Itt's shoulder was injured.

Day was quick to straighten up and asked "Is it hurting lot?"

"Umm.. no but when you touched it or when I move my hand , it hurts" Itt said honestly.

"Ok let's take medicine after lunch" Day spoke softly as he lowered Itt's shirt from shoulder to ensure the bandage is still in place.

Itt then leaned back on Day's chest  and closed his eyes.

"Are you feeling better now" Day asked in low voice and Itt nodded.

"Just remember when I am with you , you do not have to worry" Day said making Itt feel secure.

"Are you not curious?" Its asked again with a frown as he was feeling uncomfortable and also embarrassed thinking how he ran in front of Day and Pete.

"I can't wait to listen but I am worried that..." Day paused  when Itt's phone rang and it was Pete again.

Itt looked at phone and his body became stiff which Day felt.

Day took the phone from Itt's hand and answered "Yes"

"Is Itt ok?" Pete asked.

"Yes" Day responded shortly.

"Regarding deal .." Pete was interrupted by Day who responded in calm voice "We will let you know later on that."

"Can I talk to Itt?" Pete stressed.

Day ignored his question and instead asked "Is my car ready?"

"The boys are still working on it but you can use my car till then. I can send my driver" Pete responded.

Itt was able to hear the conversation as the voice was heard outside phone as volume was high and he turned with a jerk to look at Day and shook his head in panic "No... no.."

"Not needed. That's all" Day disconnected immediately as he did not want Pete to hear Itt when he was vulnerable.

Day hugged Itt and rubbed his back and spoke softly " Calm down. I am with you." Day was worried that if Itt's anxiety gets out of control, it will be difficult without medicine and moreover he did not even have his car and Itt will not get in taxi.

"Day ... that.. that driver..." Itt spoke.

Day separated Itt whose face was buried in Day's chest.   He looked in Itt's eyes "First calm down. Breathe.... Breathe in ... Breathe out...Breathe in ... Breathe out"
