Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 43

Their intimate moments did not last long as Itt started feeling drowsy due to effect of medicine and recalling the past has already taken an emotional toll on him.

Day made Itt lie down and placed pillows to support and protect his shoulder. Itt held Day's hand till he slept. Once the grip was loosen and Day could hear constant breathing, Day slipped out of bed and went outside to call Itt's father. Day told about Itt's encounter with driver and asked him more information about driver. Itt's father told that he got five years imprisonment and would have been free now. He sent the picture of newspaper cutting as it was covered by media too as the man was repeated offender. Day told him he will be with Itt and he need not worry.

Day went inside and found Itt was restless in sleep and looked like he was dreaming something bad. Day sat next to Itt rubbing his head till he calmed down.

He leaned back thinking how he should handle the situation . He felt may be he just need to ensure that Itt no longer see him again or if he should let Itt face him and remove all his fears.

 He then checked his mobile to see the newspaper cutting which Itt's father sent to know more about that guy . Then he started checking on internet about the driver. As Itt's father told the guy was repeated offender, Day could find few more articles about him. He then messaged Sage and sent the article asking more information.

He then picked Itt's phone and called Pete.

"Itt " came the voice.

"Is my car ready?" Day asked

"Let me talk to Itt first" Pete was annoyed listening to Day's voice.

Day ignored him and asked "Can I go and get my car now?"

"No.. it's actually. I had some labor issues so it's still not done. But I can send my car , just let me know where you are." Pete responded.

Day was suspicious thinking he owns an automobile workshop and just fixing tyres is taking so long. Day also thought may be he is overthinking as Itt told he is moving to UK so may be he might be having labor issues.

"Call once it's done" and Day disconnected but he also found it weird that Pete was insisting on sending his car again. Day thought is it just coincidence that the guy turned out to be Pete's driver.  Initially Day just thought he was being polite in  proposing sending car but now things seem fishy but he was not sure.

Day laid down next to Itt looking at him. He was also feeling tired as they started early and was injured too. He fell asleep as soon as he closed his eyes.

Itt was startled and got up panting . He took few breaths and then saw Day next to him. He saw him sleeping, he held his hand gently and moved closer to him and laid back feeling safe. 

Day woke up as Itt was snuggling towards him. He turned towards him and placed his other hand over him. He saw sweat beads on his forehead and immediately placed back of his hand to check his temperature. Itt did not have fever then Day realised he might have seen bad dream.  Itt's eyes were closed  but Day could figure out he was not sleeping.

"Bad dream" Day spoke.

"Umm" Itt opened his eyes looking at Day "Did I woke you?"

Day shook his head and asked "Do you want to leave for Bangkok?"

Itt was silent thinking "But the deal..." Day was impressed that Itt is still thinking rationally and not given to fear.

"Do you think the deal will be beneficial?" Day asked.

"The price he quoted for that workshop is too good" Itt said.

"And do you find him trustworthy" Day was trying to gauge Itt's attitude towards Pete.
