Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 36

They both argued, Itt reminded him of time when they escaped from factory and he rode the motorcycle. Day was still hesitant thinking about how Mac got injured and did not want Itt to race.

As they were arguing , Itt shouted "You have no right to stop me. I will do what I want and I will race."

"No you are not . Just go inside office" Day said sternly.

Itt did not listen and went to one of Nan's subordinate and asked if there is any bike he can ride. The sub-ordinate alternatively glanced at Day and then at Itt.

Day knew it will be difficult to stop Itt and he did not want to be brutal as things were getting better between them. Day nodded to sub-ordinate allowing him to give the bike as he went inside the office to control his anger. Itt looked back at Day and did not see him. 

He was confused when he did not find him. He really wanted to race but after argument with Day, it became more of winning against Day than racing.

He felt Day gave in but did not feel happy as he did not see Day next to him. His emotions were clouded but when the subordinate brought the bike, his focus shifted to bike and he was happy to see the latest bike which he has seen in magazine only.

He was appreciating bike which was black glossy frame with sleek design and tires slightly scuffed as it looked like it has been used in race few times. He asked if he can take it for a spin for trying before race and the boy readily agreed knowing he is important to Day. Itt rode the bike and was totally fallen for the mix of smoothness and speed it gave. Also he was riding the bike after a long time, of course escaping from kidnappers was thrill but riding bike now was a liberating experience for him. His face lighted as he came back to the racing point after riding for a while. 

Next race was about to begin in another 30 minutes. 

Day saw from Cctv camera how happy Itt looked. He felt he should let him race but was worried about him. He asked the underling to get the best motorcycle racing suit and hand it over to Itt.

Itt was surprised when he received the racing gears. He checked with subordinate and he told him that Day had sent same making Itt feel good. He looked around to see where Day was but  he was unable to find him , then he looked at race suit and smiled slightly. Day was watching him through camera.

Itt was quick to go and change as race was about to start. As he was ready for the race , he saw Day approaching him. 

Day came near Itt and checked his gloves and fastened it and ensured it's right fit. Day handed him the helmet.  Itt was looking at Day without blinking and they both did not speak a word. Itt was feeling good with Day's attention and how he was taking care of him.

Race was about to begin and Day came closer to Itt making Itt's heart race and then he whispered "Drive safely" . Day wanted to kiss him but he did not want to startle him just before race. Itt nodded and wore helmet and Day again checked if it was rightly strapped. 

The race began. Each rider revved the engines and crowd cheers got louder as did the sound of throttles. 

Day stood at the corner watching Itt with worry. 

Itt accelerated  and surpassed a rider to get on second position. Itt increased gear to reduce the gap further with the leading rider,  their motorcycles  came side to side  as they fought for that last inch of space. When they approached the finish line, Itt surged forward with screeching sound from tyre and flashed past the rider to win the race.

The roar from crowd erupted and Day fisted his hand in air with enthusiasm seeing him win. Day rushed towards Itt and Itt got down from bike and handed to subordinate and looked around to find Day. When he saw Day walking towards him, Itt ran to him and hugged him. Day hugged him back and almost lifted him off the ground. 

Itt separated and excitedly told Day "Did you see?" and Day nodded with smile seeing Itt so happy.

It was almost time to close the racecourse. Itt was waiting in the office while playing on his mobile lying down on the couch  as Day was wrapping things up. 

Day returned only to see Itt asleep with mobile in his hand. Day went and sat on the edge of the couch next to Itt and caressed his cheek, and leaned down and pressed his lips against Itt's lips. 

Itt woke up startled as he pushed Day "wha.. what..?"

Day chuckled slightly as he stood up and calmly said "Get up. Let's leave"

Itt was still dazed on what happened "You .. You.." as he got up.

"What"  Day questioned in teasing manner as they both walked out of racecourse towards Day's car in the parking area.

"You.. Why are you laughing?" Itt asked in annoyed tone.

"I am not" Day responded shortly without any expression.

"Drop me at my home" Itt said as he was feeling Day making fun of him.

Day did not respond back but drove back to his house not giving importance to what Itt said.  Itt dozed off on the way as he was exhausted from the race. 

"Itt .. We are home. Let's go inside" Day said calmly trying to wake Itt . 

Itt woke up and followed Day inside home sluggishly as he was finding hard to keep his eyes open totally forgetting he asked Day to take him to his home. As he entered the house, Day was switching on lights and putting lock on door while Itt went to bedroom and just slumped on the bed and in no time fell asleep. 

Day after doing chores came to the bedroom and shook his head seeing Itt. He pulled him up towards headboard and placed pillow so that he can sleep comfortably. He removed Itt's shoes and put blanket over him; and then went to take shower and change.

He laid next to Itt watching him thinking about how he is getting more and more obsessed with Itt and couldn't let him leave now. He knew Itt is opening his heart for him but Day has not gained his complete trust yet. 

As he was thinking Itt moved closer to him to snuggle as he was feeling cold and Day was quick to pull him towards himself to embrace him tightly.

Itt has started to feel comfortable with Day unknowingly. Itt did not have nightmares when he was with Day even if he skips medicine but he was not realising his closeness with Day.
