Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 48

Day could not sleep as Itt was restless throughout the night. Day also kept thinking how to handle this matter. Earlier he had doubts that it was just Itt's fear from past and with Pete he did not think he will go that far to harm Itt .

Day saw Itt asleep so he went out in balcony to talk over phone.

Itt woke up with the sound of the door and came out searching for Day. He stretched one hand while rubbing his eyes with other "Dayyy..."

" Send me quick" Day disconnected the call  as soon as he saw Itt "Ok that's it."

"Whom were you talking to?" Itt asked.

"An old friend" Day responded and wrapped his arm around Itt's waist "Let's go inside. It's windy outside"

As they were sitting and having breakfast , "Did you ?" as Itt looked at bandage in his hand. Day just smiled .  

The door bell rang. Day got up to open but Itt was quick "I will check". Day was surprised as Itt tries to avoid people since he has met him again and moreover opening door at Day's house was something Itt has not done yet.

"You seem fine and even opening the door" Gear laughed seeing Itt as both Gear and Night entered the house.

"Why ? What happened to me?" Itt asked.

 "You were in hospital yesterday" Gear said playfully "Do you have amnesia or what?" making Itt pout in anger.

Night asked Itt how he is doing and Itt just said ok in annoyed manner. Gear was about to scold Itt but Night changed the topic "Hia.. are you having breakfast". Day offered both of them to join them but they declined stating they already had but Day still poured them coffee.

Itt asked Gear why he is here and not gone to work. Gear told it's weekend so they just visited to check on him. Somehow Itt was getting irritated when anyone was asking about his health.

"I am fine and I am leaving for work" Itt spoke little annoyed. Only Itt knew about his work so no one could contradict him and seeing his mood, Day added "Ok I will drop you"

"No I will drive myself" Itt said nonchalantly.

"Your car had some issue so it's with Nan" Day said as it was.

"Really! ...why can't I recall it?" Itt pondered  "Ok then I will take the cab"

Day almost choked while eating as he stared at Itt in shock.

Gear spitted coffee over  Itt who was sitting opposite to him  "You..." cough .. Cough... "You will take cab?" He asked again just to ensure he heard it right.

"Gear" Itt yelled wiping his face " What's wrong with you?"

"Yes even I am wondering what's wrong with you?" Gear also yelled back. "First of all I do not understand why are you so moody today."  Gear was also annoyed since Itt dint respond nicely to Night . Itt started acting defensive "What moody. What I have done?" Both started yelling at each other with words that were not making any sense and eventually turned to cursing each other as both Day and Night looked at them in disbelief. Both Gear and Itt were not refraining themselves as they have known each other since they were kids.  Eventually Day thumped the table hard making both Gear and Itt quiet immediately. 

Day did not say anything , just got up and left to smoke in the balcony.  As he left Gear and Itt again started fighting with each other when Night also shook his head  and went to clean up the dishes.

Day was angry at Itt but since they have got together, it was Day who has been indulging Itt though it was also part of his atonement. Itt as well has never acted in this manner and when he acted childishly, Day actually found cute. This was first time he was annoyed with Itt but he could not take out on him. He then realised the topic where the whole fight started was Itt taking cab. Day was wondering if Itt had really forgotten his fear. It was strange to understand the pattern what all Itt has forgotten as they were just under impression Itt just forgot that incident.

Day suddenly received few messages. Day opened the video messages and he gritted his teeth as he saw them. The messages were CCTV footages from the shops near the restaurant which were sent by one of Nan's boy as Day asked for help.

There was one message when the man put the long coat over Itt's shoulder who tried to push him. The angle was showing Itt's face. Another video where the man injected something in Itt's arm, the view was from side and the hoodie was covering the face. Other showed Itt's face clearly who seemed totally frozen as the man came close to his face and kissed him.

Day saw the videos again and again to identify the man whom he felt had some resemblance to the driver but he was not sure.

"Day.. are you mad at me?" Itt's voice startled him and he immediately put his phone in pocket.

 Day continued to smoke without responding.

"Day.. " Itt held his arm while leaning on him trying to coax him "I was just responding to Gear. He started the fight."

Day did not respond when Itt came closer and kissed his cheek childishly making Day laugh in his throat. He held Itt's neck from back and pulled him closer and started kissing deeply.

Itt suddenly pushed back Day and held his head "It's hurting"

Day took Itt inside and handed him water to drink.

"What happened?" Gear asked.

"It's still hurting" Itt mumbled. Day asked Gear to call the doctor to confirm if painkiller can be given while he asked Itt to rest. 

One the pain subsided after taking medicine, Itt again started saying that he want to go to work, to which both Gear and Day responded together "No stay at home."

Itt stared at Gear in anger but could not contradict Day and finally agreed. Day anyways did not want Itt to go out because of his safety.

Day however picked the car key and left the house as he asked Gear and Night to stay with Itt who had fallen asleep.
