Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 24

Day was getting impatient waiting for Neil. He needed to find Itt as soon as possible. He has been out of his old profession for a while but his instincts still works the same.

He called Kom and asked to tell complete information of what he was aware even small details on rival gang  members.  He asked Kom to slip Day's number to one of the member accidentally as Day knows they need him and not Itt.

Day bandaged himself and braced himself physically and mentally to handle all odds.

In no time Day received a message which included Itt's picture who was tied up on a chair and looked unconscious. He had some wounds on his face  which was visible in the picture. Day gritted his teeth in anger when he received the call and came a voice "You know our rules. Tell your friends not to involve police else you know what we do in our profession."

"Don't dare to harm Itt. I will do as you say." Day said in calm voice.

"Send me location . I will be there" Day added.

"Come alone. Don't involve any of your friend or police else your friend..." and the phone was disconnected.

 Day called Neil immediately and asked to stop Nan and Gear from going to police. Neil tried to argue but to no avail.  Night snatched the phone and cried "P'Day please come back. Are you ok?" making Day little weak but he pulled himself together and told "Night I am fine. I did something bad to Itt and he is in this situation because of me so let me help him first." Night understood and Neil also overheard.Day repeated to Neil to not let anyone involve for sake of Itt's safety and he will manage.

Neil was quick to act and conferenced Gear and Nan to prevent them from taking any actions. Gear and Nan agreed to do so as they are aware if Day has said he might have some reason but Mac tried to defy "I will go to police. I can't leave Itt alone and just sit without doing anything"

"Idiot! You will put your friend in additional trouble if you do so" Nan said nonchalantly. Neil had to pitch in to convince Mac by telling Day will ensure Itt is safe and they doing anything may risk both Itt and Day's life. Neil's words were appearing  matured and responsible and Mac agreed to hold for now.

Day checked the location and saw it was an old abandoned factory. Day knew this area well as he had been there before.  He rented a motorbike as he knew the area had lot narrow alleys and bike will be better way to escape. He knew he can't surrender to them and if they succeed in trapping Day, they will not show any mercy on Itt as well. Thus the only option he had was to escape with Itt.

Day rode the bike to the location sent and stopped little far away. Then he tried to scan the whole area while remaining out of sight from people. He observed there were 6-8 men who were going in and out of the factory. Most of them were armed and had guns. Day kept hiding behind walls and trees and then waited to get little dark outside the factory as he stayed behind the bush.

As it got little dark, he saw three to four men gathered to smoke just outside the building. Day took this opportunity and  climbed up a pipe and  sneaked inside the factory through a window which had broken glass. Day got some scratches but he hardly reacted. Day noticed there was no guards so he jumped and immediately hid behind a huge container. He knew he had to be quick enough if he wants to escape from here with Itt. He creeped behind the containers and saw a store room which one guy was guarding outside. Day's instinct told Itt would be inside the room. He glanced across the whole area and did not see anyone else except that one guard who had a gun tucked in  the back pocket of his trouser while he was  strolling outside with eyes on his mobile. Day did not waste time and ambushed the guard from behind and took the gun immediately from him. As soon as the guard turned to attack Day , he hit his head with the gun's back knocking the guard out. Day opened the door quietly to see Itt whose eyes widened as soon as he saw Day but Day gestured him to stay quiet by putting his finger on his lips.
