Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 49

As Day stepped outside, he was shocked to see photographs scattered on the ground.

Gear followed Day as he came to close the gate and was totally in dismay when he saw Day picking pictures which showcased Itt in office, in balcony, in restaurant, in hospital which was clearly stating Itt is being watched whole time.

Day held one picture in his hand and gritted his teeth which was of Itt being kissed by that man. He crumbled the picture and said to Gear in deep voice "Keep Itt inside and clear this ". Gear spoke in concerned manner "It seems they are trying to provoke you with the pictures. Don't act in anger."  Day slammed the door of the car in anger and drove away.

Gear asked Night to ensure Itt does not come out as he picked all the pictures.

Itt woke up late in the afternoon and asked Night about Day as he did not find him around. Night told him, Day had some urgent work. Itt called Day who he did not pick the call.

Itt again started saying that he will go to work which again turned into fight with Gear but that made Itt stay at home and it was already late evening.

Night prepared some food for them to eat as none of them had anything post breakfast. Itt kept asking about Day and even Night and Gear were worried as it was dark and there was no news of Day.

Itt called Day number of times but it went on voice message. He was wondering if Day was mad at him.

Gear and Night asked Itt to sleep but he said he will wait for Day. Gear  decided to stay back along with Night as he can't leave Itt alone because of recent incidents.

Itt was adamant and stayed in the living room waiting for Day on the couch as he kept scrolling TV channels. Gear and Night eventually went to room to  sleep.

Itt was trying hard to keep himself awake. He was walking to and fro and washing face many times but  the medicines made him too drowsy.

In the morning Night came out of room and found Itt sleeping on the couch with television on. 

Gear also woke up and walked behind Night  and saw  Itt all curled up. He took the remote from his hand and switched off the television. Gear got a blanket and covered him.

Night was also worried about Day and went out and anxiously looked around if he could see him returning. Gear followed and tried to calm Night telling Day might be occupied with something but he himself was concerned if Day did anything wrong in anger after seeing Itt's pictures.

Night tried calling Day again but his phone was still switched off. Gear asked him to try checking with Neil who also did not have any clue.

They heard some sound and both ran inside to find Itt who was awake and slamming doors to find Day in all rooms.

"Itt what are you doing?" Gear shouted at Itt.

"Where is Day?  I slept... I don't know when I slept.. did he return?" Itt was babbling.

"P'Itt calm down. P'Day will be back." Night tried to say making Itt feel awkward thinking Night is Day's brother and younger to him and he is trying to pacify Itt instead Itt should be the one.

Itt nodded and did not say anything but he was still frowning making Gear understand Itt is still stressed.

Itt sat down on the couch with his hand on his head.

Gear came and sat next to him  "Don't worry. Day will be fine. He is a strong guy."

Itt did not say anything as he did not want to show himself weak in front of Night.

Gear told them he will get something to eat from outside but Night stressed he will cook as it will help him get distracted. 

In mean time Gear tried contacting Day again and then asked one of his friend in cyber cell to trace Day's phone number. 

He went to sit with Itt and switched on television. Itt gave Gear annoyed look as he was not in mood to watch tv but Gear kept scrolling ignoring Itt as he wanted to change the atmosphere.

There was a news of a major accident of a business man. Gear switched the channel when Itt yelled  to return to the previous channel making both Gear and Night startle.

Gear put the news channel back and after seeing the news Itt started fidgeting. Gear watched Itt not understanding what was making Itt so anxious. He then focussed on news which stated businessman and his driver has been taken to hospital.

He looked back at Itt who was sweating and his hands were fisted.

"Itt are you ok?" Gear spoke softly and even Night was watching Itt in concerned manner.

"He.. that..." Itt pointed at the television which was showing the picture of Pete and the driver.

 Gear asked "Is he  the driver?" seeing Itt so scared though he couldn't recognise the picture as he had seen old picture of driver prior.

Itt did not respond but look in his eyes made Gear realise why news was bothering Itt. The news kept showing visuals of the car flipped after being hit by a truck. 

Gear switched off the television and asked Night to get water. He forced Itt to drink water.

" Why are you bothered. It's long time and it's his karma" Gear spoke harshly.

"But.." Itt did not know what to say as he himself was not understanding his feelings at the moment. 

Night told breakfast is ready to distract as he could see the atmosphere tense but he was unaware of the what Gear and Itt were talking as he had no idea about driver incident.

"Come let's have breakfast. Forget him" Gear said pulling Itt to the breakfast table.

"I am not hungry" Itt said as he was not in mood but Gear pushed him to eat telling that he should have energy to find Day.

But as soon as he took Day's name, Gear started connecting dots and feared if Day was responsible for the accident.

Itt had few bites and stopped eating. Night tried to persuade him to eat little more and when he didn't succeed he looked at Gear who was silent. 

 Night nudged  Gear making him come out of his thoughts who directed his attention back to Itt who was again having a throbbing headache.

Gear got the medicine and at same time bell rang.

Itt shrugged Gear's hand holding medicine and ran towards door "It must be Day"
