Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 40

Next morning Itt's fever increased. Day was blaming himself for allowing him to drink beer. Day tried to take him to doctor but  Itt was too stubborn and did not agree at all. 

Itt already had to frequent to hospital for his anxiety issues so he tries to avoid going to hospital for any other ailment as he hates going there. If his parents did not force him he would have skipped  visits to therapist too.

Itt was not eating as he had a sore throat. Day tried to coax him to have food but Itt was being too difficult. Since he was not eating, Day was unable to give him medicine. Itt was  throwing tantrums as he was not feeling well and also because he had started feeling close to Day. He felt now he has right to be pushy with Day.

Suddenly Itt got up and picked clothes to go to take shower to get ready to go to work. This is when Day switched his soft stance to being his normal self . Day warned Itt if he is not going to listen , Day will drag him to hospital inspite of any resistance. 

 "No I am not ..." Itt was about to say but the negotiation worked when Day shot a death glare.

 Day made him eat food and take medicine. Itt kept grumbling and after a while he slept due to the effect of medicine.

Day watched Itt's face and he shook his head in frustration and murmured "He is still like a kid " He recalled the first time when he saw Itt in Nam's cafe. He was a fun loving, cake craving, naughty boy. Day smiled thinking about how crazy he was for cake and soon his smile disappeared thinking he was responsible for turning Itt to serious, miserable and aloof person. 

Day caressed Itt's cheek and decided he will make it up to Itt. 

Itt went to pick his clothes from his home as Day insisted Itt to stay with him till he completely recovers. Day was sitting out in car as Itt went inside to pack when Itt's mother saw Day and invited him in.

Itt's father was also at home and Itt introduced Day to his parents "Uhh.. This is Day... my friend."  Day gave a look to Itt but was still content that Itt has let him in his world. Day knew he has to still talk to him about their relationship. Itt told them that he would be staying with Day for a while for some work. Itt's mother forced them to leave after having lunch. 

 Itt's parents were happy to see Itt making new friend as for few years he had segregated himself with only friend being Mac. Also they could see Itt's body language around Day was more relaxed. Day as per his nature exchanged only few words but was respectful towards his parents.

Itt's mother could see Itt was not well as his face was little red and he kept coughing but Itt shrugged it off as little cold. Day strangely intervened telling he had fever making Itt pout but added he is getting better to not to make her worry.  During lunch, Itt's mother kept sharing some stories about Itt's childhood while having lunch making Itt embarrass. Amusingly Day's and Itt's father's reaction was almost same and they at times used same words. Itt kept glancing between the two. Day also ensured Itt is eating right stuff such that it does not increase his fever.

Itt's father also became fond of Day seeing his matured behaviour and how he was taking care of Itt.  Day gave him his contact number too when Itt went to pack. Day also discussed Itt's  anxiety issues telling he is aware and also told him how he is connected with Gear making his father trust him more. Itt's father told Day that he and his wife will be going out of country for a month and asked him to keep checking on Itt during this time. He did not expect Itt to stay with Day for that long so he just asked him to keep visiting him as both parents are worried about Itt's health. 

Day assured him that he will take care of him and if Itt does not resist he will make him stay at his home for whole time.  

Itt went back with Day to his home. He was bit surprised how his father started trusting Day with just one meeting as when Itt was about to leave , his father told him he can stay with Day longer while they are away. 

Itt was still recovering , during mornings he was fine but at nights the fever used to reappear. Day was worried if he diagnosed him properly and giving correct medicine so he again pushed Itt to go to doctor but this was something Itt remained stubborn and did not give in at all.

 Day however spoke to doctor over phone telling his symptoms and ensuring he is giving correct medicine. 

Itt had to go to work few times as there was some quality issue with one of the auto-parts consignment. Day dropped and picked him up from office. Day could see Itt was diligent with his work. 

Day also restricted his visits to salon or timed it mostly during noons when Itt was either sleeping or working on laptop. There were couple of times Itt went with him as he was getting bored but Day still ensured he rest in his office.

Day pampered Itt a lot during this time but was also strict for his health.  It took longer than a week for Itt to completely recover.

Itt felt he had stretched his stay at Day's place so was packing to go back home. "What are you doing?" came a voice startling Itt.

"Umm I am going back home. It's almost two weeks I stayed" Itt said as he continued to fold clothes while sitting on the edge of the bed.

Day was silent for a while then Itt turned to look at Day as he did not receive any response . Day went near Itt who immediately turned back to fold his clothes to avoid eye contact. Day  wrapped his arms around Itt's neck  from back and bent to snuggle in his neck and said softly "Stay here till your parents are back"

Itt was thinking what to respond when Day turned Itt to face him and started kissing. Itt kissed him back. Itt's phone rang interrupting them. Day was annoyed but let Itt check his phone.

"Why is he calling?" Itt muttered as Pete's name was flashing on screen. 

Day noticed same and asked "Is he the one you met in Chonburi?". Itt nodded and picked the call.

Pete asked Itt if he is still interested in buying factory as he is ready to finalise deal at discounted price. Itt had really liked the factory and felt it as good deal but was confused why he is giving discount. Itt thought it would be better to ask upfront "It's been some time. I will just check the floor plan again but just curious why you are giving discount"

"I am permanently moving to UK  so I am in hurry. Also I liked you.. I mean I liked dealing with you so if you are interested we can finalise." Pete said. Day gritted his teeth as he was able to hear Pete's voice.

Itt thought for a while and then said "Ok I will visit factory one more time and then we can finalise". Day was not happy with Itt dealing with him but did not interrupt.

"Ok if you can visit within next week that would be good " Pete responded and Itt agreed.

"By the way stay at my place this time." Pete said and disconnected before Itt responded.

"You are not dealing with him " Day said in angry tone.

"But why ?" Itt asked in confused  tone 

"Don't you recall what he did? You still " Day yelled

"What ? What did he do..? And why are you shouting at me" Itt asked not understanding why Day is angry.

Day composed himself realising he was taking out his anger on Itt. He ran his fingers through his hair in frustration and sat on bed calming himself down. He realised Itt was drunk then and did not realise Pete's moves were suggestive. Also  Itt was only dealing with him professionally. Day also did not want to elaborate as he was afraid it might stress Itt. Day has been avoiding lot of questions he wanted to ask Itt as he did not want Itt to go through any more distress.

 Day took deep breath and said "If you are dealing with him, I will accompany you."

"But .." 

Day interrupted with a smirk "Let's continue what we were doing."
