Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 41

"Day.." Itt called as he looked up while working on the laptop.

"Hmm.." Day was flipping bills in a file as he was  going through invoices of his salon.

" I am planning to visit  Chonburi this weekend. Will you come along?" Itt asked hesitatingly.

"Yes" Day responded without thinking or looking at Itt.

Saturday morning Day picked Itt from his home.  Itt wanted to go through some documents and pack his stuff so he stressed on staying at his place, the night before.

They started early morning to avoid traffic. 

"Did you make appointment with Pete?" Day asked.

"He will be in his factory around nine so we can directly go there" Itt responded.

Day nodded and then stopped at a cafe "Let's have breakfast here. We still have time." As Itt was sipping coffee, he received call from Pete asking when he will be arriving and he responded that they will be there in an hour.

After putting the phone down,Itt  widened his eyes and suddenly said "Oh no."

"What happened?" Day asked confused.

Itt shook his head "Naah.. nothing" with a frown without looking at Day.

"Itt" Day called his name in deep stern voice.

"No.. it's nothing .. It's just.. I mean I forgot to pack my medicines" Itt said nervously.

"I reminded you last night" Day muttered but then cleared his throat and said "It's ok. We can buy here."

On the way, they went to check the pharmacy but the medicines Itt takes was not available there.

Day saw Itt  was fidgeting his hands. He took one of his hand and held squeezing a little " It's fine. You are hardly taking medicines recently and you are fine. I am with you. We can get medicine after the meeting too" Itt nodded but he did not look convinced. He has not been taking medicines but travelling without them was making him more nervous.

Itt and Day reached factory. Pete was displeased to see Day along with Itt as he was expecting Itt to be alone. Itt introduced Day as his friend which Day did not mind knowing they just got together and moreover Pete is just professional acquaintance. 

Pete showed them factory. Itt asked few questions regarding machines and area. Day kept a close eye on Pete as he followed Itt while observing the place. Pete patted Itt's shoulder few times during conversation but soon with Day's glare , he started maintaining his distance.

Itt liked the place but Day was little suspicious as he saw some people peeking. Day asked him about them but Pete just avoided stating them just as neighbours.

Pete invited them for lunch in his house. Day was about to reject the idea but Itt agreed as Pete was pushing too much. Day looked at Itt as if to say something but then changed his mind and told Pete "Ok we will follow you."

As they went out they saw Day's car tires were flat. Day and Itt were taken aback as it totally looked like someone intentionally slashed the tires. They looked at Pete who was quick to cover up stating the neighbour kids might have done as they are bit notorious.

Pete said he will have someone fix it and bring it to his house while they can go along with him in his car. Day and Itt did not have any choice but to agree.

Itt could see Day disapproving expressions, so he stepped back a bit to speak to Day  as Pete headed towards his car.

"Are you not ok?" Itt whispered to Day.
