Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 1 - First Meeting

Day was sitting in Nam's cafe sipping coffee and reading newspaper.   The cafe was packed with people ,some working on laptop while having coffee and snacks ,  couples on romantic coffee date talking softly to each other. The cafe was still peaceful with not many loud noises.

A group of three entered and suddenly the whole cafe environment changed with perky noises , loud laughs. All three dressed in uniform black trouser and white shirt with shirts untucked and messy hair. 

"Can I try this?" Came a voice. "Ummm it's delicious. Can I also try this and that one" 

"Itt are you planning to taste all the cakes?" Four shouted while finding a seat for themselves. They sat with Gear and Four with their backs towards Day  just next to him.

"I will take all three cakes. " He said  to the attendant and gave orders for regular drinks which Four and Gear always have. He went back to sit with his friends facing Day. None of them looked at each other.

"Ha ha ha ha.. My friend loses all his coolness when cake is in front of him" Gear gave him a napkin to wipe his face as his lips were smudged with cake cream.

"I am always cool." Itt said while still looking at counter and waiting for his order to arrive. Gear and Four just shook their head smiling at Itt.

They kept talking making fun about their teachers and classmates  and were giggling and laughing loudly. Others in cafe kept glancing them now and then as they were good looking group and their noises were not disturbing others instead people were smiling on their fun talks.

"Do you want to bet that new kid likes you Gear? Itt  said.

"I don't think so. Anyways he is my brother's friend and I do not want to get involved  with him." Gear said.

"I think you also like him . I have seen you watching him secretly" Itt said.

"Yes  I am with you Itt on this. Even I have observed you glancing him in college and when he visits home with Gus" Four added.

"Ok  here is the deal , I will give you discount on new stereo system if you can date him" Itt spoke without thinking much.

"Really the latest one?" Gear asked enthusiastically when their order of drinks and cakes arrived. Itt  nodded and got busy eating cake.

"Deal done. Keep the stereo system ready" Gear said shortly.

"Nah last time.... you tric....." Itt mumbled with mouthful of food.

"What?   Say clearly?" Gear said little loud patting Itt's head.

"I said ...last time also you tricked me"  Itt said too loudly making everyone in cafe  turn their heads to see Itt but he was back to eating cake without noticing anyone.

"Umm .. It's yummy " Itt closed his eyes while enjoying the taste of cake when Four and Gear picked spoons to have a bite of cake from his plate.

He jerked their hands pulling plate closer to him "This is mine. If you want get a new one." Itt's lips were again smothered with cream and he hardly cared about anyone else sitting in cafe and his whole attention was on his cake.

Day sneaked a look at the boy sitting in front of him and snickered at his childish behaviour

Gear picked the tissue and wiped the cream from his face with strong hands "Can you eat little sophisticatedly. By the way when did I trick you?"

Itt looked at Gear with dissatisfaction and frowned to think what he was talking about " Oh yes when Fai did not even talk to you and you made me pay for dinner." Gear and Four both laughed as it is very easy to bluff Itt.

"This time I want a video proof of your first time" Itt said not seriously.

"What ? You are crazy Itt." Gear laughed.

"I will give you discount only then. You can't fool me this time" Itt said to sound smart.

"Deal done." Gear smiled at Itt's silliness.

"Keep me out of this bet" Four shook his head.

"Gear... " Itt started eating cake thinking something deeply

"Hmmm" Gear looked at Itt

"I think you both will fall in love" Itt said when his phone rang.

"Yes Ma.. .. I ... I didn't do it...  I am not coming home. I will stay at Gear's place. Pa will kill me if I go home " Itt spoke and hung up the phone . Gear and Four watched him curiously as they could only hear Itt and not what his mother was telling

"That bastard complained my Dad that I gave free stereo to friends" Itt said pouting his lips.

"What.. You gave free stereo ? To whom?" Gear asked with stern voice.

"To Phaya as I wanted to meet his sister." Itt said looking down.

"Wow ...You are giving discount  to your best friend and distributing  free systems to strangers." Gear said in sarcasm

."Day here is your parcel. Bring Night to cafe sometime" Nan handed over the cake which Day was waiting for. Day nodded and paid Nam for cake but continued sitting which was so unlike him but he was amused with Itt's talks.

" I really liked his sister. I need to have one more cake to change my mood" Itt shrugged his shoulder and was about get up to order another cake.

"Shut up and sit. You will have stomach ache like last time. " Four rebuke and held Itt's arm to make  him sit. 

Gear shook his head "You deserve good beating from your Dad. Four take him to car, I will make the payment" and got up to pay.

Four literally have to drag Itt to car as he was asking if he can take one piece parcel. 

Day kept glancing Itt and was smiling without knowing  on Itt's  behaviour and got up to return home but his eyes kept peeping at the group whom he was following.

Day received a call "P'Day where are you? 

"Just on the way getting your favourite cake" Day responded.

Four had to use some force to push Itt in back seat and close the car door. He sat in front and Gear followed to drove them to his home.  

Itt looked back towards bakery disappointedly and Day smiled seeing his face while sitting in the car.
