Day Itt GENESIS

Chapter 37

Itt has started to feel comfortable with Day unknowingly. Itt did not have nightmares when he was with Day even if he skips medicine but he was not realising his closeness with Day.

Next morning Itt left for work as he had few important meetings and thereafter returned to his home.

 Mac was better now but Nan made him stay with him till his father returns. Nan started going to racetrack as usual and Mac accompanied him most days.  Day continued to travel between Kanchanaburi and Bangkok for work.  Itt was also busy with some new deals . Both Itt and Day did not interact or communicate with each other . Day wanted to message or call Itt at times but he did not want to push Itt .

Itt on other hand was confused about his emotions. He had stated feeling good with Day but he did not want to accept it.

Couple of weeks passed, Itt travelled to outskirts to meet a client. While returning it started raining heavily and suddenly his car started making strange noise and stopped.

Itt was quick to pull over at side when he felt some issue. He stepped out to diagnose the issue and got drenched completely. It was dark so he held mobile in one hand and switched on the  mobile light  as he tried to check the engine plug. With rain and limited light it was difficult to check, when suddenly a car passed and splashed water on Itt.

Itt's clothes were now all dirty with mud water. Itt still tried to check but was unable to figure out the fault.  The route was little deserted and not many vehicles were passing by.

Itt was contemplating what to do as calling cab was out of his option. He sat in the car and scrolled through his contact list  deciding whom to call. Suddenly there was a crash of thunder making Itt startled and he dialled Day's number unknowingly. 

Day was unlocking the door to enter house after a long trip from Kanchanaburi when his phone rang. He took out his mobile from pocket and saw Itt's name displaying on screen. Day was little surprised but happy that Itt called him. He immediately picked the call and responded simple "Hello" but there was no sound from other side.

Day spoke "Hello Itt.." again ..."Itt.. you there" but no response. He was now anxious and called Itt's name few times as he entered the house and kept his luggage on the floor.

Itt was looking out of the car window and suddenly he heard his name and looked at his phone screen only to find that he had dialled Day's number.  Itt was dumbfounded what to say but he responded back "Day.."

"Are you ok?" came an anxious voice making Itt's heart flutter.

"Yes.. oh sorry .. I dialled by mistake" Itt said to cover his act of calling.

Day was silent for a while listening the word mistake and then added "That's ok".

There was silence on both ends as Itt  did not want to end the call but also did not know what to say.

"Are you home. It's raining heavily" Day asked to break the awkwardness.

"I.. No... actually I am bit stuck, my car broke down" Itt responded.

"Where are you? I will pick you up" Day said immediately.

"No.. I will manage" Itt said in low voice.

"Send me your location" Day said sternly.

"no... achoooo... Itt sneezed. 

"Itt send me your location now" Day said as he picked his car keys which he had placed on table moment ago and stepped out of house locking it.

"But it will be trouble for you. I am out of Bangkok" Itt said though he now wanted to meet Day.

"I am already on road, send me your location" Day said sternly and Itt agreed to send on Day's persistence. Day checked the coordinates and realised it is outskirt and  almost two hours away.
