The skies over New York had turned a deep, bruised gray. Thick clouds swirled as alien ships pierced the atmosphere, their sheer size casting immense shadows over the city. From street level, it looked like the world was collapsing, with panicked civilians fleeing in every direction and the relentless sounds of explosions echoing through the air. Above, Tony Stark swooped between skyscrapers, firing repulsor blasts at the swarm of alien soldiers descending from the ships.

"Cap, I don't know how long we can hold them off!" Tony shouted into his comms, dodging a barrage of enemy fire.

On the ground, Steve Rogers swung his shield at an approaching group of aliens, his jaw set in grim determination. "We need reinforcements, and fast. Where's Thor?"

"Busy taking down one of the motherships on the other side of the city," Natasha's voice crackled over the line. "We're spread too thin."

Tony hovered mid-air, scanning the battlefield. His gaze swept over the devastation, calculating options. "We're running out of time," he muttered, then made the decision. "Calling in the Young Avengers."

"What?" Wanda's voice cut sharply through the comms. She was on the ground, her red chaos magic sending waves of destruction at a cluster of aliens. Next to her, Agatha Harkness was channeling dark purple energy, blasting the enemy with ruthless precision.

"You can't be serious!" Agatha added, her voice rising in anger. "They're not ready for this-Y/n is not ready for this!"

"We don't have a choice!" Tony shouted back, frustration lacing his voice. "This city is about to fall, and the Young Avengers are our last option. You know they're capable."

"Not Y/n!" Wanda's voice cracked with emotion as she tore through another group of enemies. "She's only eighteen, Tony! You can't just-"

But Tony had already made the call. "Young Avengers, we need backup. Now."

Agatha's magic flared out wildly in response, her eyes glowing with fury. "Stark, if anything happens to my daughter-"

"She's more capable than you think, Agatha," Tony cut her off, his voice stern but tinged with a hint of guilt.

Wanda shot a glance at Agatha, her heart pounding with fear for Y/n. They'd spent years training her, keeping her safe, and now, in the middle of the worst battle New York had seen since the Chitauri invasion, they were sending their daughter into the fray. The thought made Wanda's stomach churn with dread.

A bright, golden portal opened near the edge of the battlefield and out stepped Y/n, Peter Parker, Kate Bishop, Yelena Belova, and the rest of the Young Avengers. Y/n's heart raced as she stepped into the chaos, her dark pink magic already swirling around her fingertips. She had been training for this moment, but nothing could have prepared her for the sheer scale of the destruction unfolding before her.

Her comm crackled as Wanda's voice came through, shaky but firm. "Y/n, stick with Peter. Stay close and be careful."

Y/n's hands clenched into fists as she scanned the battlefield, trying to push down the fear bubbling up inside her. "I will, Mom."

Peter gave her a small, reassuring smile, pulling his mask up just enough to offer a few words of comfort. "We've got each other's backs. Don't worry."

Y/n nodded, taking a deep breath. She had faced danger before, but this-this was different. The weight of the battle pressed down on her shoulders, but she pushed it aside. Now wasn't the time for doubt. With a flick of her wrist, her magic surged out, forming a protective shield around a group of civilians who were caught in the crossfire. She waved her hands, teleporting them to safety behind a barricade.
