A/n: I saw a post on Tumblr of incorrect quotes and laughed so hard at it that I felt the need to write a chapter based on it! I hope y'all enjoy it!
Agatha stormed into the police station, her heels clicking sharply against the tiled floor. Her expression was a mix of irritation and concern, but she maintained her composure as she approached the front desk.
"Hi, I'm Agatha Harkness," she announced crisply. "I received a phone call saying I needed to come here immediately?"
The policewoman behind the desk barely glanced up from her paperwork. With a distracted wave, she gestured toward a holding cell in the corner. "Yes, that one over there. Is she yours?"
Agatha followed the officer's gesture, and her breath caught when she saw Rio behind the bars. Rio sat in the corner of the cell, clutching her rabbit, Señor Scratchy, tightly to her chest like a lifeline. The absurdity of the situation hit Agatha all at once.
"What the hell have you done? And why, for the love of magic, is my precious baby rabbit in there?" Agatha demanded, pinching the bridge of her nose. "And more importantly, where are Y/n and Nicky?"
Rio looked up, an exaggerated grin spreading across her face. "No greeting? No 'Oh my love, what happened to you in jail?' Agatha, where's the romance?"
Agatha's eyes narrowed. "Where. Are. Our. Kids. Vidal?!"
Rio sighed, waving her hand dismissively. "Relax, sweetheart. I transported them to Lilia's shop when the police started chasing me. They're fine."
Agatha exhaled, the tension in her shoulders easing slightly. "Thank the divine mother. They're safe. Now—what the hell did you do to get arrested?"
Rio leaned back, casual as ever. "It was an unfortunate series of events, you know? I went to collect a soul, as one does. Most of the time, I do this in quiet, empty places—peaceful. But just as I reached the soul, the person woke up unexpectedly. The veil broke, everyone freaked out, the police arrived, and boom, now I am here."
Agatha stared at her, her jaw dropping in disbelief. "You took our children with you to collect a soul?!"
"It was a spur-of-the-moment thing! I saw the guy collapse, felt his soul leave, and I had to act fast! Besides, Y/n's sixteen. She can handle it," Rio said sheepishly as if it were no big deal.
Agatha rubbed her temples, feeling a headache creeping in. "You have a talent for driving me insane, you know that?"
Rio grinned, unapologetic. "I do it with so much love. Now, can we get out of here?"
"Sure," Agatha said, turning to the policewoman with biting sarcasm. "You can release her now."
The officer glanced up, completely unfazed. "Not happening, sweetheart. She's facing attempted murder charges. After the court proceedings, maybe you can bail her out."
Agatha rolled her eyes, her patience wearing thin. "I don't have time for that." With a flick of her wrist, a pulse of purple magic shot out, knocking the officer unconscious. She crumpled to the floor, her pen rolling away with a dramatic flair.
Rio whistled low, impressed. "You're so hot when you use magic like that. Is she dead? I'd love to collect her soul."
"She's not dead," Agatha muttered. "Just knocked out, and I wiped her memory of the last 24 hours."
Rio pouted. "You're going soft, mi amor."
Agatha smirked, crossing her arms. "You won't be saying that later when your mouth's too full to talk."
Rio blinked. "Full of what?"
Agatha raised an eyebrow. "What do you think, mocosa?"
Rio's face turned red as she quickly closed her mouth. "Okay, okay. I'm sorry."
