It was another busy day on the set of Agatha All Along, and Y/n had just wrapped her morning scenes. She found a quiet spot off the side, nursing a cup of tea, when she saw someone heading her way. It was Patti LuPone, striding confidently toward her. Meeting Patti was something Y/n had been excited about for weeks. The idea of working alongside such a Broadway legend made her heart race a little. Still, there was also a sense of familiarity creeping in-it felt like WandaVision all over again, where meeting new cast members had always sparked one particular conversation.

Patti flashed a warm smile when she reached Y/n. "You must be Y/n," she said, her rich, unmistakable voice cutting through the buzz of the set. "I've heard nothing but great things about you."

Y/n stood up, trying not to let her excitement show too much as she shook Patti's hand. "It's such an honor to meet you, Ms. LuPone. I've been a fan for a long time."

Patti looked at her for a moment, her eyes narrowing slightly as if she were trying to figure something out. Then, she took a step back and raised a brow. "Wait a minute," she said, a grin forming. "Has anyone ever told you how much you look like Kathryn Hahn?"

Y/n chuckled. This conversation again. "Yeah," she replied, shaking her head with a smile. "It happens all the time. Especially since I played her daughter on WandaVision."

Patti's jaw dropped slightly in mock disbelief. "It's uncanny! I mean, I've seen you two together on screen, but in person... Wow. You really do look like her."

Before Y/n could say more, she heard a familiar voice from behind. "Are we having this conversation again?" Kathryn Hahn appeared, her signature mischievous grin lighting up her face as she approached them. She threw her arm around Y/n's shoulders, pulling her into a playful side hug. "Patti, I've been saying this for years-Y/n's basically my kid now."

Patti laughed, shaking her head. "You weren't kidding! It's like looking at a mini-you, Kathryn."

Kathryn nodded dramatically as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "Yup. I told her this would happen again the second we got on set for this show. It's like a running joke at this point."

Y/n rolled her eyes playfully but couldn't help smiling. "Seriously, it happened all the time on WandaVision. Every new person on set would mention how much we looked alike."

Kathryn gave Y/n's shoulders a squeeze. "And I loved every second of it. I kept telling everyone that we were keeping the family dynamic going off-screen, too."

Patti chuckled again, clearly entertained by the whole thing. "Well, I can see why! The resemblance is wild."

Just then, Y/n's phone buzzed in her pocket. She pulled it out and saw a FaceTime call from Elizabeth Olsen. Grinning, she answered the call, propping her phone up so that Lizzie could see everyone.

"Lizzie!" Y/n greeted her with a smile. "You're never going to believe what's happening again."

Lizzie smirked on the other end, immediately catching on. "Let me guess. You're on set with your real TV mom, and someone's talking about how you two look like twins?"

Kathryn leaned into the frame, waving at Lizzie. "Hey, Lizzie! We were just telling Patti here that Y/n's basically my daughter."

Lizzie laughed, shaking her head. "Of course you were. You guys have been running with this since day one on WandaVision."

Y/n grinned, leaning into Kathryn. "They're still talking about how I'm Kathryn's mini-me."

Lizzie nodded, keeping a straight face but clearly teasing. "Well, you kinda are. It's not just the looks. You've got the same vibe, the same energy. It's like watching Kathryn 2.0."

Patti leaned over to catch a glimpse of Lizzie on the screen. "And you're not wrong! The resemblance is freaky. I'm in the presence of TV royalty over here."

Kathryn grinned, leaning into Y/n. "See, Y/n? Even Patti agrees. You're officially stuck with me as your mom now."

Y/n groaned though the smile on her face betrayed how much she loved this running joke. "You guys are impossible."

Lizzie chuckled from her end of the call. "Y/n, I've been saying for years-you might as well put Kathryn down as your emergency contact. She's basically got mom rights at this point."

Kathryn nodded enthusiastically. "Yup. I'll even sign the adoption papers. Make it official."

Y/n shook her head, laughing as she replied to Lizzie. "Alright, Lizzie, I'll talk to you later before these two try to make me fill out any actual paperwork."

"Deal," Lizzie said with a grin. "Love you guys. Have fun on set!"

As the call ended, Y/n tucked her phone away, still feeling the warmth from the conversation. Patti was still shaking her head in disbelief.

"You two are something else," Patti said, crossing her arms. "This whole 'mother-daughter' thing you've got going on-it's like it's been happening forever."

Kathryn nodded, looking fondly at Y/n. "It has been. It's like a tradition at this point. Ever since WandaVision, anyone who meets us brings it up. Honestly, it's kinda special."

Y/n felt a warmth spread through her chest. It really was special, the bond she and Kathryn had formed over the years. The teasing shared jokes, and easy comfort weren't just for the cameras. It had become real.

Patti smiled, clearly moved by the whole dynamic. "Well, I'm just glad I got to witness this firsthand. It's like watching a real-life family."

Kathryn grinned, ruffling Y/n's hair. "That's because it is a family, Patti. Some things are just meant to be."

As Y/n stood there between Kathryn and Patti, hearing the laughter and feeling the familiar sense of belonging, she realized how lucky she was. The running joke about her and Kathryn being like mother and daughter had started on WandaVision, but it had become so much more. It wasn't just a joke anymore-it was home.
