Agatha and Y/n were curled up on the couch, wrapped in a cozy blanket, the familiar opening credits of Grey's Anatomy rolling on the screen. It was their tradition-mother and daughter bonding over medical drama and emotional rollercoasters. But tonight was special. Tonight, they were introducing Rio to the infamous musical episode of Grey's Anatomy.

"Alright, Mom," Y/n said with a smirk, grabbing the remote and pausing the episode dramatically. "Prepare yourself. This is...different."

Rio, sitting in the armchair across from them with a glass of wine in hand, raised an eyebrow. "Different how? There's been enough drama in this show to last me a lifetime."

Agatha chuckled, exchanging a knowing glance with Y/n. "Let's just say, tonight, the drama comes with a soundtrack."

Rio's eyes widened as the episode began and Callie started singing Chasing Cars. "Wait-wait, are they...singing?"

Y/n grinned, biting into a handful of popcorn. "Yup. And it only gets better."

"Or worse," Agatha added, smirking.

Rio leaned forward, a mixture of confusion and curiosity playing on her face. "So they're all in the middle of a huge crisis, and they just...burst into song?"

"Pretty much," Y/n said, nudging Agatha. "It's like a fever dream, but it's iconic."

As the episode continued, Rio's reactions shifted from bewilderment to amusement. She shook her head with a chuckle during How to Save a Life. "I can't believe this show just did this."

Agatha snorted. "Oh, honey, this show will do anything."

Y/n leaned closer to Rio. "Okay, but admit it, The Story was kinda good, right?" She gestured dramatically to Sara Ramirez, belting out the lyrics.

Rio took a sip of her wine, considering. "Alright, I'll give them that one. She has a hell of a voice."

When Owen Hunt started singing, Rio nearly choked on her drink. "No. No, no, no-he should not be singing."

Agatha cackled. "Told you."

By the time Wait played, Rio looked emotionally exhausted. "I feel like I'm watching a Broadway show in a hospital, and it's...strangely working?"

Y/n grinned. "See? I knew you'd get into it."

As the final song wrapped up and the dramatic tension settled, Rio sat back with a sigh. "Okay. That was...something. I don't know if I loved it or hated it, but it was definitely something."

Agatha patted her knee. "Welcome to Grey's. The emotional whiplash is part of the charm."

Rio gave them both a pointed look. "I can't believe you two have watched this for years." pointed at them both

Y/n smirked."And now you're part of the madness, too."

As they sat in the post-episode silence, Rio looked between them and smiled softly. "You know, this weird little tradition of ours... I kinda like it. Musical episodes and all."

Agatha and Y/n exchanged a happy glance before Agatha hit play on the next episode. "Then buckle up. There's a lot more where that came from."

Later that night, as they cleared the empty popcorn bowls and wine glasses, Rio shook her head with a smile. "I still can't believe Owen Hunt thought he could pull off singing."

Y/n laughed. "Right? And don't even get me started on Bailey's song. Iconic or cringe?"

Rio considered for a moment. "A little bit of both, honestly."

Agatha stretched, yawning. "Alright, ladies, as much as I love our deep dives into Grey's, I think it's bedtime."

Y/n pouted. "One more episode? Just to cleanse the musical madness?"

Rio rolled her eyes but smiled. "Fine, one more. But no more singing doctors tonight."

As the next episode started, Agatha wrapped an arm around Y/n, who leaned into her with a content sigh. Rio glanced over at them, a soft smile playing on her lips. "I have to admit, I missed moments like this."

Y/n glanced up at her. "Well, you're here now. And we have, like, seventeen seasons to catch up on."

Agatha chuckled. "And plenty of snacks to get through. Speaking of which, who's getting the ice cream?"

Y/n groaned but stood up. "Fine, but I'm getting the good flavors this time. None of that weird sorbet stuff you like."

Rio laughed. "Hey, don't knock my taste. It's refined."

Agatha smirked. "It's weird, is what it is."

As Y/n rummaged in the kitchen, Rio turned to Agatha with a more serious expression. "Thank you for letting me be part of this."

Agatha gave a small nod, her eyes warm. "You're family. And this... this is what family does. Even if it means enduring musical hospital chaos together."
