Aurelia walked down the station seeing Hen and Chimney staring at the locker room where Buck and Eddie were talking to Ravi. the more the days passed the more hectic everything was with the 'treasure hunt' Aurelia still didn't really think was true. sure she also thought about it, wondering if it was really true but she had more things to worry about. still thinking about what Bobby had asked her the other morning about being Lieutenant and Buck pushing back the paperwork he and Aurelia had to go over for, for Ajax. it had felt like the longest week ever.
the alarm rang and everyone ran towards the engines heading down to a park for the first call of the day.
"fire ants." Bobby says rushing towards the man who was itchy, "looks like he stepped into a whole colony."
"ouch." Aurelia rubbed her arm.
"let's hope he's not allergic." Chimney says, "or a good guesser."
"two sections of inch and three quarter line with a narrow fog. should be enough for us to knock those ants right off." Buck says setting up the hose from the truck.
"we'll make a water curtain. forty psi!" Eddie calls out.
Aurelia turned on the hose starting to hose the man down, as soon as he started to calm down Hen and Chimney immediately checked his vitals and got him into the ambulance immediately. Eddie and Buck soon started to scratch themselves, Aurelia immediately rushing away not wanting to get itchy as well. Bobby kept his eyes on the girl walking towards her as she climbed into the drivers side of the engine.
"you're stressing." Bobby leaned against the open door.
"huh?" Aurelia looked at her father.
Bobby laughed rubbing her forehead which she felt was furrowed the whole time, her hand touched her forehead seeing she had been like that all day, "what's going on, Rosie?"
"i'm just a little nervous about the meeting with Leah and the treasure hunting thing is kinda stressing me because i want Buck to focus on this meeting too." she shrugged giving him a small smile.
"baby, everything is going to work out. i know it." Bobby held her hands assuring her.
"i know but what if-"
"no. no, what ifs. it is and you are going to be a wonderful mother to Ajax and your future kids." he smiled at her.
Aurelia smiled hugging Bobby tightly, he laughed hugging her and kissed her temple, "thanks, dad."
