Aurelia sat in her living room placing presents under the tree. smiling she checked the time to see if her parents were returning. they hadn't returned yet since the day before when she arrived home from school or answered their phones. Aurelia just thought that they were just working late. it was Christmas Eve, she went over to a friends house for dinner and was now sitting in front of the tree.

she waited for hours until she moved to the couch falling asleep waiting for them to return. when she woke up the following morning they still hadn't returned. Aurelia grabbed a sweater walking around her neighborhood asking for her mother and father but nobody had seen them. back to her apartment, she sat in front of the tree opening the gifts that were under all alone.

"sir this burning is going to go away it's just gonna take a couple of hours." Bobby tells the man dressed as Santa Claus.

the 118 were called to the mall because while Christmas shopping one of the parents buying gifts started to pepper spray everyone including Santa Claus.

"long before you need to be back in the North Pole." Buck chuckled as the kids standing behind him watched in worry.

"is Santa Claus gonna die?" a little boy asks Buck.

"oh, hey. no, no, no. of course not, and don't you worry. he's not really Santa." Aurelia's eyes widened as Buck kneeled down in front of the kids.

"he's not real?" the little girl asks on the verge of tears.

"no, sweetie. he's just pretend."

"Santa's pretend?" the little boy asked also on the verge of tears.

"that's right." Buck says.

Aurelia quickly took off her gloves covering Buck's mouth pulling him away, "of course he's real, sweetheart. don't listen to him, he just works for the Grinch, he always has something up his sleeve to be mean."

Buck turned his head to Aurelia with his brows furrowed, Aurelia glared at the blonde pulling him away.

"did you just tell my kid Santa isn't real?" an angry parent approached Buck.

"mm-hmm." the little girl nodded.

"uh, no, no. i was- i was just explaining that this Santa isn't Santa." Buck says as the boy started crying.
