"Rosie, can i talk to you for a minute?" Aurelia, Buck and Eddie turned their heads from the couch seeing Bobby.
Eddie laughed and Buck's eyes widened, Aurelia pushed Eddie to the side and gave Buck a smile before standing up making her way to her father.
"i didn't do anything, it was them." she pointed to the boys making their jaws drop.
"Aure!" Buck laughed, she turned around giving him a big smile following Bobby.
"that was very mean!" Eddie says as she and Bobby made their way downstairs, their laughs echoing throughout the firehouse.
Bobby lead the way to his office which now started to worry Aurelia, she couldn't have done anything to get in trouble so she probably thought it was nothing. the two stepped into the room, the stack of papers on Bobby's desk she always helped him with was less and less each day.
"what's going on?" Aurelia asks taking a seat on the chair.
"well, two things. neither are bad so don't worry you're not in trouble," Bobby chuckled taking a seat, "i got a call from Ajax's social worker, Leah. she wants to come and talk to you, i'm guessing he told her about you and Buck and she just wants to meet."
Ajax had been coming to the firehouse a lot recently during his lunch while he's at school. Aurelia told him since the beginning that if he needed anything to go to the 118 and he did, every chance he got, Ajax was with the 118 laughing, spending time with everyone, even staying for meals at the firehouse.
"to adopt him?" she asks.
"maybe but that's for you and Buck to talk about if you're ready for that next step." Bobby smiled at her.
Aurelia would take Ajax in, in a heartbeat. he reminded her of herself when Aurelia was the same age, always making jokes and laughing, visiting the firehouse whenever she had the chance.
"another thing, i spoke with Chief Simpson the other day and he asked me to pick someone for Lieutenant," Aurelia's eyes snapped up looking at Bobby seeing a smile on his face, "i want you to be my Lieutenant."
shocked filled Aurelia, her eyes were wide and her jaw was slightly dropped, "huh?"
Bobby laughed at her reaction leaning forward, "it'll be good for you, you can be Interim Captain while i'm away. everyone on the team likes you, you're a bright woman, Rosie."
