"firefighter Diaz, do you copy?" Bobby spoke over the radio.
Aurelia and Buck sat on the couch up in the loft of the firehouse arms wrapped around each other listening to their captain.
"five by five, Cap. over." Eddie responded into his walkie.
"Chimney, report."
"read you loud and clear. i've got eyes on Hen who i can already tell screwed up my coffee." Chimney said earning a laugh from Aurelia.
"his cinnamon coffee." she whispered resting her chin on Buck's shoulder.
"like hell. one cinnamon coconut macchiato with a quad shot, half pump of vanilla. and yes, my radio's working just fine. over" Hen spoke into her radio.
"Buck, sound off."
Buck planted a kiss on Aurelia's cheek before standing up from the sofa making his way to the balcony where Christopher and Carla were making their way inside, "we have visitors Cap."
"Buck, the whole point of the test is it say it into the radio." Bobby raised his brows hearing Aurelia's laugh from afar.
"we have visitors, Cap." Buck repeated into his radio, "hey, did i pass? over."
Bobby just smiled at the blonde speaking into his radio, "close enough. Rosie, you copy?"
Aurelia lifted her radio to her lips standing beside Buck at the balcony smiling down at her father, "all good over here, Cap."
"dad!" Christopher's voice filled the firehouse.
Buck and Aurelia excitedly rushed downstairs to see Chris, Bobby smiled at Aurelia planting a kiss on her temple before going back to his office. the couple made their way over to Eddie who was holding a medal, Aurelia rested her arm on Eddie's shoulder looking at it.
"is that what i think it is?" Buck asks.
"it's a silver star 'cause my dad's a hero." Chris smiled big at Eddie.
"we don't need jewelry to know that." Carla gave Eddie a smile.
"do you ever just wear it?" Buck asked as Eddie shook his head.
"never found an outfit to go with it."
"ooh, if i had a medal, i would never take it off." Buck took the box looking at the medal.
